Truly Unlimited’ EvDO prepaid plans at Rs.449 for Netconnect+ Pan India

Recommended Posts

post-54479-0-77219300-1421112037_thumb.jReliance has launched two new prepaid data packs for its Netconnect+ users, Rs.449 pack gives Truly unlimited data for 15 days at 3.1Mbps and Rs.797 pack gives truly unlimited data for 30 days at 3.1 Mbps. These same denominations are also available for Reliance Pro 3 users but with FUP caps, the Rs.449 pack gives 7GB data at 14.7Mbps with 15 days validity and Rs. 797 pack gives 10GB data at 14.7 Mbps and after that unlimited usage at 144Kbps. Also Rs.999 denomination is available only for Pro 3 users and gives 15GB data at 14.7Mbps and after that unlimited usage at 144Kbps. (The Rs.999 denomination is available as a postpaid plan for both the Netconnect+ Rev.A as well as Pro 3 Rev.B offering the same benefit of 40GB high speed data and after that unlimited usage at 144Kbps).

Note-

Since there was no plan offering truly unlimited EvDO data in the past, many users had started using Reliance CDMA OMH sim in unlocked EvDO data cards with the popular Rs.949 recharge voucher that gives unlimited calls local and STD + 3000 SMS + truely Unlimited EvDO data with free pan India roaming with 30 day validity. Since the calling and SMS features are of no use while using the sim in the unlocked data card it will now be better to use the Rs.797 recharge voucher for Netconnect+ to enjoy the same truly unlimited HSD benefit with free pan India roaming at a lower price.

^^^ for which circle? I thought Mumbai didn't have Pro3 yet. That works out to hardly 500/month!

Surely something like 5-10GB under RevB & balance under 1x/RevA

Can we apply these packs on a normal OMH connection? Anyone tried?

Not first from reliance. They have habit of trafic throttling if you buy pack with benefits. I was using reliance gsm prepaid in kolkata. in 1st month I reacharged with Rs.177/- for 1 gb data. Speed was good. and in 2nd month they had plan for Rs.199/- rechage 5 Gb of data was offered. When I started using that pack speed reduced to snail even had difficulties in browsing website.

Only one mantra on Reliance. If you want really good speed on Internet stay away for promotional pack and offers

^ on top of that when I checked the recharge pack rates today they have a special note for Rev B with lower data caps than for Rev A dongles !

So what was Rs 999 truly unlimited (40 GB) when I bought the Pro3 dongle is now 18 Gb while for Rev A dongles it is 24 Gb or something.

Its senseless if data rates change so much every month (40 to 18 is huge, rate has increased more than double)

Probably makes sense to list the data packs on BSE/NSE - then we can 'accumulate' during drops and 'book profits' during highs.

This 797 rs. truly unlimited data is completely fake. Reliance cheated with the people.

I recharged my reliance 3 dongle with 797 Rs. on 18 Jan. but I got 10 GB only and after consuming this 10 GB data I am getting 2g speed (144 kbps).

as per plan in given link on reliance website I should have got unlimited high-speed data. but reliance guys are saying that as per plan u will get 5 GB + 144 kbps unlimited data. I am cheated :(

My dongle no. is 9327790502

My all complaints were closed without solutions. complains nos. are as :

229359656

229379973

229559027

Reliance are cheaters to core. They have introduced these plans only to bluff people and get subscriber numbers even if they are temp. All this Reliance Pro new dongle offers etc are just to improve their books before financial year closing. One should never fall into Reliance gimmicks.

They say unlimited but it's never the case. There's always a cap mentioned in small at the bottom.

I am planning to recharge Rs 449 unlimited for 15 days for a new OMH sim. Going to use it in unlocked data card.

1) It says unlimited, but is there any cap for Rs 449 and Rs 797 recharge plans?

2) Do they give a normal sim (not micro sim) which i can put in dongle? Or is there any unlocked Rev B dongle which takes micro sim?

^ Will it work with an OMH Sim?

Yes you will get a normal OMH Sim, or you can just use an adapter.

Phone isn't really free here. If you subscribe to zero plan then the cost comes to just 800 per month, on prepaid you get everything unlimited for 949 recharge. Only on reliance CDMA. You will still be paying at least 2648/- extra on Vodafone every month.

Yes Vodafone is one of the costliest network to be on. Their internet speed is excellent so even if you go for their red 1555 you will run out of the 8gb in no time. Plus its not unlimited. Once you exhaust your data you are charged I think rs.2 per mb. Also the 1599. If you add tax etc the final amount will be around 1900 to 2000

No sir, Vodafone s**ks. And they tamper with your data usage. Speed has nothing to do with your consumption.
