By cdmaworkshop: Step 1: open cdmaworkshop (in my case i used cdmaworkshop 2.7)and go to cave tab. Step2: Now in akey calulator section you will find 3 columbs namely dec,hex and esn. Step 3: Now enter 12345678901234567890 in dec column. Step 4: If you know the pesn of handset then put it directly in esn column. If you dont know pesn go to www.esnconverter.com and conver your hex or dec meid and you will get pesn there Step 5: now click on calc in checksum section and you will get a six digit number. Now your 26digit akey is ready and good to go Akey: 12345678901234567890 followed by 6 digit number you got from cdmaworkshop. Hope it helps. Thank you. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Good news is that SPR L720 works on OMH very well with data. I received a few phones last week which were shipped on 4.3 OTA. Rooted, flashed phil's recovery and updated to NAE 4.4 modem.tar, flashed rooted stock TW NAE 4.4 flashable ROM.zip from recovery and it reads any RUIM. Have also tested other international CDMA SIM cards on this baked tutorial. Chinese tutorial:- http://www.cdmamod.com/thread-1840-1-1.html the files:- http://pan.baidu.com/s/1hqsUCJU Note 1:- that GSM unlocking requires MDC modem, s4 unlocker and such, and that hidden menu may not be operable on 4.3/4.4 so please make sure its done before this procedure. The chinese tutorial states that a stock MK2 odin file is used, and then the 4.4 zip and the NAE modem, but i have not updated to 4.3 bootloader. Note 2:- OMH/GSM/NV mode (3 networks as called in China) also works on MDC base and CM roms. *Please use your favourite CDMA software to make the phone RUIM only/RUIM if avail before proceeding to this topic. *GSM usage by this method is under development. The entire tutorial is experimental and aimed towards achieving stock like performance.

This post only explains you how to get 26digit akey from 20digit dec , or from hex. but problem was he was not knowing his original akey and none of default akey was working for him. in this case nothing is going to help , unless original person who did registration gives actual akey. he was lucky that his meid was supported by FF, other wise he need to contact original meid registration person.

Many of you may have heard smartphone geeks throwing a terminology that they think everyone understands. Probably it is the biggest thing that you may have heard on cellphone bolgs and forums. Jailbreaking is more or less is another name of rooting which is related to ios devices. Now, what does this mean? And why actually someone roots their cellphone? At its most basic ROOTING refers to the process by which one gains access to administrative commands and functions of a operating system. Still confused?? So as i when i first heard about it. Let me elaborate it. When you root your device you give yourselves rather than the original software vendor the entire administration rights of operating system. The main reason why one may root their phone is to install some type of custom roms so as to enjoy new features ir save their battery. Thats it? What can i do by gaining administrative rights? Well heres is your answer. There are many other benefits of rooting. For example you can remove boltware, to stop system processes which are draining battery a lot. Having a rooted android phone is also useful because there are several android apps which are very useful and also need root access. The best example i can give is "nandroid backup" and the most popular "titanium backup"... Then what are the disadvantages i was talking about? Well technically i should say none. But rooting voids warranty by manufacturer. Rooting may brick your phone if you do it the wrong way. Both of above can be solved by restoring handset to stock rom. Hope this post helps. I'm glad that we have great personalities like Vinod here. When I was in a pinch while permanent GSM unlocking my friend's G2, he asked me my teamviewer details. Connected to my PC next minute and did all the work in a flash. What a guy!! Thanks a lot mate. Salute!!!

while i do want AAP to succeed nationally, i don't think they can replicate the delhi results which were a fluke. the regional parties will be prepared to attack where congress took them for granted and vastly underestimated their impact AAP will get about a dozen seats each in the top 6-8 metros but will have a lesser impact in rural areas where voters are paid to show up on election day educated middle class taxpayers will be more likely to vote for AAP than poor / illiterate citizens which are over 3/4th of the national electoral base in mumbai the senas will probably start beating up aap supporters if they start making significant headway else they will be ignored it would be foolish for AK to become a PM candidate without finishing a single term as CM and getting some much needed experience he should do a 'sonia' and allow aap to nominate another person as PM instead since the odds are highly against success this would show him as a real leader and not power hungry
