  9. Gmail Offers Free Pop !

IMAP on gmail is not very useful bcoz u cannot create folders. you have a fixed number of folders - inbox, sent and archives. Everything else is managed by labels.

i have asked both reliance and nokia about the release date for n6255... but both are not willing to provide any information
  11. Yahoo Joins 1 Gb Bandwagon

    mine is 100 mb too!!
  12. Lg 6130 V/s Gtran 4020

the LG still looks a better bet overall... you will have local ASC support and RIM will support the handset much better then GTRAN
  13. Lg 6130 V/s Gtran 4020

u'll get bored with uploading pics and ringtones preety soon... dont use that as an eval criteria. Plus LG can always come out with better software, dont expect a unknown company like GTRAN to provide you with software updates
  14. Signing Into Mobile Device Using Y!m

Hey same thing happened with me!
  15. Buggy "update Phonebook" Under "all About 93"

the GTRAN doesnt even have the Update Phonebook application... so consider yourself lucky to atleast have a buggy software instead of no software
  16. Lg 6130 V/s Gtran 4020

the gtran lcd is not visible in bright sunlight... dont know abt the LG one.
  17. Rim Virtual Sim Card

if they move towards virtual SIM, the RUIM system will be completely redundant and useless... but as long as they are able to give me the desired flexibility its great
  18. Samsung Samsung Sch A603 V/s Lg Rd 7230

  22. What About This Phone: Nokia7600

u r right rsumit, WCDMA is an extension of GSM technology... not interoperable with CDMA 2000.
  23. Service Area

what if the process is as simple as inserting a new RUIM chip? and just for argument sake, in many countries changing ESN is illegal, but i cant recall any such law in india.
  24. Connect To Net Free

vishal, how did u get the SPC code for using QPST? another thing, when u use QPST to read your phone does it get recognised? what is the phone number that it lists - is it urs? In my case i get a different number... cud it be that its the number on phone and i m actually using the data from the RUIM?
  25. Service Area

why should changing networks be banned? it is understandable that a DAPO phone belongs to reliance and hence changing networks should not be allowed. but i have bought my phone outright from RIM and am the owner of the phone - surely i have the right to change networks on that phone ... assuming it is all right with the target phone company.
