    On dialing #777 from internet dialer on my PC, my phone(nokia 6275) goes into dormant mode, but doesnt verify my username-password saying either username or password is not registered to the domain.

    Any clue?

    I think you need to register your phone for modem usage with the customer care. Called them and did that. Works fine now :clap:

    Direct Email means

    A Menu is Placed into the Phone to Received / Send email from any POP Based A/c like GMail / VSNL / or any Private EMail

    Yahoo , Hotmail, Rediff Indiatimes does not Provided POP access free of COst.

    This is facility is not uses full as every Webmail like yahoo,hotmail, gmail have WAP Access for Email on Mobile rather than direct access.

    I also dont find anything in 6275 which support direct mail as stated by Nokia Website

    Well direct email might mean being able to send pictures to an email address(which I am able to do). Not sure.... :winko:

    Bought one (black) yesterday from Sangeetha @ Forum, Koramangla, Bangalore. 11500/- and he was not ready to bargain.

    Being only my second phone, I need to use it some more to write a review. Right now getting used to Nokia.

    Just one thing... I have been trying to download my phonebook (uploaded from LG 2130) from RWorld. But after a few moments, it stops saying Unable to process request. So multiple trials could get around 30+ contacts from some 290 odd. So carrying two phone for the time being, one to fetch numbers other to make calls :winko:

    do you have contact no. of Sangeetha @ Forum, Koramangla, Bangalore. pls. let me know

    Sangeetha's num 26707111 (found somewhere on the net) They had two peices when i bought. Go and check.

    BTW got my phonebook transferred too.

    I am having trouble with phonebook transfer. Had LG 2130 earlier so had saved 2-3 numbers for many of the contacts. I have not been able to download the entire phone book. Each time I try to download, it says unable to connect or not able to process the request. I thought this is a memory issue, but the memory card as well as phone memory is free enought to accomodate the contacts. Any clue what could be happening?

    Can anyone clear, if this phone is available for 11k or 14k ...

    And is it available in Bangalore yet ???

    Checked at Nokia Priority dealer Jayanagar and Reliance Webworld Jayanagar. Not available at both places. They dont know when will it be available.

    If someone in and around Bangalore finds/buys it, please let us know the shop location and price.

    help me choose a plan.

    for Delight 399, 1000 is a non-refundable amount. but i get 160 Rs/month calls free and 25 Rs. / month sms free. so i will recover the 1000 Rs. advance in 6 months. plus there is no clip charge or plan charge (hence saving 50 Rs. each month)

    BUT Joy 399 has .85 call rate which is like 15% off on voice charges.

    my current plan Joy 399 old (with 1 Re call to any mobile anywhere, with clip and plan charges) my bill comes out to be 1700-2000 PM. what is your opinion, which plan should i go ahead with?

    I have used LG 2130 since more than two years. Being my first phone it is now in a drastic unpresentable condition. Problems with making and recieving calls and messages exists and I have been planning to change since forever.

    I read through all the posts regarding Nokia 6265. My doubt is, whether I should spend 16K for this phone or take a cheaper phone (say Nokia 6235 or LG 6330)

    OR may be move to GSM connection(for which I need to research about the tarrif plans for my high STD usage) with a much better handset(something from Nokia N series).

    What would you suggest?
