  2. Thanks Arun, don't see any such option in Tapatalk settings or Rimweb forum settings. Using an iPad.

Maybe I'm missing something.. can someone who's successfully merged their accounts plz help with the process.

    Try this solution in Tapatalk..

Search for your favorite forum, open link in tapatalk and put in your user name and password.

This is for rm914, for android it will be similar. You can have multiple accounts configured without having a single tapatalk account.

    Hope your query gets satisfied.

  3. Huawei B199 quad core dual SIM CDMA + GSM launched

The Huawei B199 with quad core processing power and a 5.5 inch HD display has been launched in China. The B199 is priced at 1999 CNY ($329 approx). No word as to when this handset will be rolled out globally.

The Huawei Dual SIM B199 supports CDMA + GSM networks with dual standby mode. It is powered by 1.6GHz Snapdragon quad core chipset (different from K3V2). Android 4.3 Jelly Bean coupled with Emotion UI 2.0 runs the show with 2GB RAM and 16GB on board internal storage. External SD card is also supported.

A 13 Megapixel auto focus camera is also included on the rear with LED flash and a 5 Megapixel front camera that can be used for video calls. The multi touch capacitive touch screen is 5.5 inches with 1280×720 pixels resolution.

Key features are 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS with GLONASS and Bluetooth. Battery is of a 3000 mAh capacity. Another interesting thing is that this handset can be used to charge other devices using a dedicated cable. The Huawei B119 is expected to hit the Chinese markets on 20th January 2014. No word about the global launch.

  4. I have a small query may sound dumb though if I am right 4G or LTE as MDA is offering comes under GSM segment right?.If such is the case why would MDA buyout cdma arm of Rcom how would it benefit him.I dont get the logic.Any ideas as to when MDA plans to turn his vision to lesser privilaged places like chennai which need good internet connections

this news came in nagpur edition of sakal, Marathi newspaper. As per this news, Nashik, Maharashtra will be the center for 4g rollout by next 6 months.

  5. I wont comment about Honda, But Nissan Sunny Diesel is any day better than all other options laid out in terms of maintenance and cost of ownership. Its over 1.5 years since we have owned this car & its really doing well, Clocked well over 70k in all types of Road conditions and rough driver.

Toyota Etios is the worst option according to me, given its build quality & non refined engine.

Also the cost of Spares for Nissan are lower when compared to Honda or any other competitor in its class.

I agree about etios, its bad.

Thanks for sharing your experience on sunny.

  6. Pls suggest: Need a petrol car..

    1. Mahindra Quanto

    2. Nissan Sunny

    3. Honda Amaze (This has the same engine as new City, right?)

    4. Honda City

    5. Skoda - Rapid

    6-8 Lakhs...

Any idea which will be cheapest in maintenance??

what about Etios ? it is quiet spacious & reliable too. I like look of Etios more better than Amaze. Amaze seems kind of modified 'something' product & not exactly a sedan.

Honda Amaze is the Brio with a boot. Handling and Mileage is good. City is a premium product and Amaze is affordable. As for all Honda cars, both of them have low ground clearance and you are actually supposed to touch base with speed breakers on weather and other.

If you have budget to 8lacs, go for city, all new city new starts from 7.42 and fives 26kmpl.

Sunny is also a good option provided service center is in town.

    Quanto is out of question.

Skoda is good too. Spares are costly may be more costly than Honda.

Sit in the vehicle, drive around on the bumps and decide for yourself.

    All the best.

  7. I have heard a pretty strong rumor that MDA group is going to invest 25000 crores in RCOM for a sizable share, Anil would still be the Chairman. Well this statement is even partly supported by this article

    http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Biz/India-Business/Mukesh-may-redial-telecom-now/articleshow/5966369.cms

it seems to be coming true...slowly and steadily.

  8. Update [Feb 19, 2013]: Turns out Flipkart listing have been all wrong and both Alcatel OT 4005D and OT 4010E smartphones run on Gingerbread not Jelly Bean as reported by us earlier. Flipkart has rectified their listings now as pointed by Deepak in comments. The retailer has also stopped taking orders and has put both the phones on pre-order.

We will be waiting for the official announcement before writing anything more as there is a lot of confusion right now.

We apologize for the errors, clearly we can’t trust Flipkart listings so much. We will be more careful in the future.

It's Perhaps The Cheapest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Dual SIM Phone in India Right Now.
