  1. LG G2 LS980 Sprint CDMA/GSM

All ok ? Perfect ? Remember data will not work if you upgrade to KK(LS980ZVC). not much of difference anyway. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk updated to ZVC on Reliance RUIM and lost data. Hoping for a solution. Tried reverting to ZV7 but getting bootloops. even went into recovery using power+vol keys and did hard factory resets but bootloops wont go away. For all users recommend using the "service disable" app from playstore to disable all the bloated apps. Gives a great battery life.
  2. LG G2 LS980 Sprint CDMA/GSM

Great news for Sprint LG G2 LS980 owners.. 4.4.2 kitkat ZVC update . This info is for reference only. Dont OTA update if you are rooted http://www.xda-developers.com/android/ota-captured-sprint-lg-g2-receives-android-4-4-2-based-zvc-update-open-source-files-released/
  3. My older handset is NV based so I have to be sure before selling it off My transfer was from NV based to RUIM handset. So deactivation through email sounds like a sensible step unless the InstaCare request takes into account only the MEID or RSN before de activation. Some forum users have posted no success with Reliance CC for EVDO de activation. Right now I will wait for a response from CC or send an email to appellate authority as mentioned in a post elsewhere for EVDO de activation.
  4. Have only sent de activation request to customer care through email to delink old RSN or MEID from EVDO. In the meantime got EVDO activated on the new handset by sending SMS TO 55444 according to Parin post in another thread... Havent used instaCare App yet and thats why asking whether you migrated to a new handset activated EVDO on new handset and then used EVDO de activation on old handset ?
  5. LG G2 LS980 Sprint CDMA/GSM

I've come across a very interesting article offering upgrade for present LG G2 owners. “G2 is 4G ready and support TDD LTE frequency for which companies in India hold spectrum. Once the network is ready, we can upgrade these devices to support 4G. They will not have to buy new device for accessing 4G service. At present G2 will support 3G,” LG India’s Marketing head Amit Gujral said. http://www.thehindubusinessline.com/industry-and-economy/info-tech/lg-aims-rs-200cr-revenue-from-4g-smartphones-by-2014/article5186200.ece I wonder if Sprint version is acceptable for the upgrade or only those bought locally
  6. I've already activated EVDO on my new handset. Now if I go back to the old handset and request EVDO de activation will it disable EVDO service on new handset too ? Thanks
  7. Reliance CDMA EVDO Activation Via SMS

Migrated from Samsung Fascinate (Non-SIM) to LG G2 . At WebWorld filled up retain SIM form. Used *228 to activate new SIM. Send SMS to 55444 and EVDO got activated. Thanks to Parin for this info. I've also confirmed with CC that EVDO plan remains the same as before. Unfortunately both EVDO and voice on previous handset is still active. This is where my dilemma lies now. Looking at forums posts it seems subscribers are having difficulty in deactivation and de linking the older MEID. I've already sent an email to CC but no response yet. Even a factory reset wont help as the MEID is tied up with data connection. I can only hope now that I get a proper response from CC.
  8. All ROMs In One Post! [ Part -2 ]

Samsung Fascinate SCH-I500 Unjust Dev KitKat 4.4 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521427
  9. This is for JB only. Used the link from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1819946&page=68 to activate 3G data under recovery.
  10. Called up CC to change my present MobileNet99 to MobileNet94. I was told to call back on 24th which is one day before the next billing cycle. Asked why so and why can't my request be taken now. Replied if request is taken now I will be charged 99Rs until the billing cycle ends while 94Rs will be charged from the time request is taken. Told him I'm ready to pay all the charges mentioned. So the CC rep fell silent for a moment went back to the supervisor to confirm. Guess what my request was taken and told me that the plan would change from the next billing cycle !!! I wish I could record all these type of conversations as it is Reliance policy to record customer calls and post it on the internet. Unfortunately android app on the fascinate does not support full two way call recording. Anyway its a great plan and happy surfing to all !!!
  11. My latest bill shows MobileNet99 plan with appropriate usage deduction. So the system has been finally updated and problem solved....
  12. Sent sms to 53739 and text "ACT MN99 51374" Reply was "Dear Subscriber, your request could not be processed. Please try again. We regret the inconvenience. Reliance" Any postpaid customer tried subscribing through SMS to these data plans ?? Please share your feedback. Thanks...
  13. ^^ Did the activated data plan appear on your bill and your usage charged accordingly ?? Did u get a confirmation SMS ??
  14. ^^ are you implying account on http://myservices.relianceada.com Under what options is it confirmed ?? I've been given a waiver once more on the current bill according to MobileNet99 plan... Even after 3 days I've not received a confirmation SMS for activation.
  15. ^^ Visiting web world shows the total apathy towards customers and raises the question of accountabililty already had raised an issue earlier about billing through email. they stopped responding. one facebook member got banned from Panasonic because his 42" Plasma was not repaired for over a month and he kept complaining...
  16. ^^ Easier said than done... Requests are taken then case is closed without any consideration... I've even tried to submit written application through Reliance Outlet. Guess what they told me they have orders not to given any acknowledgments !!! So even I file a consumer court complaint there is no way to prove the request... There is total miscommunication between customer services and the customer. I request for a waiver and the a request for change of plan is taken so to make it look like a different issue... Either this a deliberate attempt to mint money or callousness on part of customer services...
  17. Make sure that you get a confirmation SMS that your plan has been activated. My request for mobilenet99 has been taken 3 times already and each time my bill does not reflect it. I have to call up customer services each billing cycle for activation. April bill I was given a waiver but for May I had to pay according to MobileNetPayG. Now the same thing has happened. June Bill again shows RNC_PAYG
  18. Interesting turn of events. Received a new SMS from Reliance. Waiver of data units will reflect in my next Bill according to MobileNet99 plan. Earlier SMS clearly said case closed and plan not applicable. I guess a lot of confusion still exists on data plans.
  19. As mentioned in earlier post Reliance Customer Service accepted request for MobileNet99 plan. After the new bill generation I see the default plan RNC_PAYG on the bill. After posting a complaint with *222 I get a SMS stating RNC2.5gb_99 plan not applicable. All this time I used data services thinking the plan has been changed as assured by customer services. So now I have to pay extra due to their negligence. I've lost faith in Reliance CDMA. I was a customer since it was launched. While GSM users in Nagpur are surfing away at 15Mbps, Reliance CDMA are struggling at 1Mbps. I'm thinking about migrating to Vodafone now using MNP. Too bad a robust technology CDMA all gone to waste by poor planning.
  20. I was able to successfully subscribe to MobileNet99 plan. The only problem is that the plan will be effective from the next billing cycle ie. May. So right now I'm stuck with the default plan 2p / 10kb Thanks to the people who made this happen.
  21. Enquired today with CC and Mobilenet plans still not available. I guess it will take some more time for final implementation.
  22. Data Plans For Reliance Mobile CDMA Explained

Am trying to change the RNC plan to 200MB for the past 3 months but every time Customer Services rejects the application. After this experience http://www.rimweb.in...post__p__251097 applied once more Attached a printout of http://www.rcom.co.i...rnet_phone.html with the application but the request was again rejected because so the called executives relaxing at Dhirubhai Ambani park asked for plan code from the local Reliance outlet !!! It seems customer services is eager to reject my application each time due to some reason or other. Emphasis is placed on the handset make and model. I've already explained that Samsung Fascinate is primed for use as a phone modem. However they don't agree with me. They are trained to think that only the old Brew handsets were capable of acting as a phone modem. Applied on 20th and already got a SMS on 22nd from reliance whether I was satisfied with Customer Services although no confirmation was given whether the plan was activated or not. So each time the feedback ends in "No" Now I've forwarded my request to the Nodal officer awaiting for her response.
  23. Reliance CDMA EVDO Activation Request Here For Aam Admi

I've called netconnect team and requested for a plan change to Mobile 99 from present RC Value. Reply was their department is not concerned with data plans on mobile handsets. Asked me to call regular customer service. Even sent a SMS to 51234 stating "M99". No response. Customer Call center asked me to request plan change using RWorld on the Handset which I don't have. Stated the missing RWorld application on my handset. He said that I'm unaware of its presence. Told him i'm using handset for a year now and I haven't come across any RWorld app. So he went to say again that I'm unaware of mobile's functions. So it was not longer necessary to continue this conversation. I'll submit application through their office and hope for the best.
  24. Reliance CDMA EVDO Activation Request Here For Aam Admi

After remaining on 1x data on my Samsung Fascinate decided to jump onto the EVDO bandwagon. Called up Reliance Customer Service. Was asked to visit nearest Reliance World and submit written application. Did so and after 2 days came the bad news. Only OMH allowed. Asked the rep to confirm again with the tech department and the same answer. Told him that my friends using EVDO on non sim based handset. It was not possible according to tech. So decided to take advantage of Amit's wonderful EVDO registration service. After receiving service acknowledgment sms a person called from Reliance HQ just to inform me that EVDO was activated. He did not even ask whether the handset was sim based or non. After contacting my seller Parin (with thanks) i received a dump file and using CDMA WS 2.7 I was able to write NV items custom made for my handset. Voila EVDO was in full swing. Thanks to the initiative by Amit and help from Parin I was able to sail through smoothly.
