    Hi, I am trying to use R Connect via LG 2030 & third party USB data cable on win XP. Is it require to activate the phone as modem before installing software? I have tried to install the software but it fails to detect the modem though the cable driver/ converter installed properly. Any help will be highly appreciated. Sandip
