Yes the RD3100 has a data Cable but there is no point using the commonly available USB Cable as I don't think LG has released a USB Driver for it. The USB Driver as mentioned on Reliance's Website is a Driver for the Serial Cable alone( as confirmed by the LG Service Centre in Ghatkopar, Mumbai). The Serial cable should work to sync your Contacts, but I Doubt the USB cable works. If anyone has succeeded pls do tell me !!!!!!!!!! And no the cable can't be used for Net Connect because the Phone doesn't support it at all.

Dear Shyam, If a Handset has been changed by using HCC then Reliance can track the new no. on the old Handset. It is only when it is transfered by using an R-SIM that it is difficult to trace. Also if your Phone is dead & you want to change your Handset just tell the Webworld that your Handset is stolen & show them Proof that you are the Rightful owner of the Phone & the Telephone no. (Original Bill & ID Proof). Then They can program your old no. into the New phone. Regards, Aditya

Dear Shyam, Thanks for the Help, but the issue seems to be with the Driver & not the PC Sync. I have downloaded & Installed the PC Sync from Both Reliance website & LG Site . The Phone doesn't detect & when i try to synchronize it says Check port. I think it is a driver issue. I got the Driver from Reliance 's Website. LG's website only has the Sync Software. Do you have an alternate driver. Or do you know anyone who has successfully synced their contacts Regards, Aditya

I bought an LG RD 3100 , (My Old Phone is the Nokia 3125 CDMA & I need to transfer my contacts) . I bought the USB data Cable & used the Software on Reliance's website to sync my Contacts. I am unable to get the Phone to Communicate with the PC inspite of installing the driver Software on Reliance's website. I get an error saying Check Port. Is there some setting change that I need to make inorder for it to work? Would anyone know what the Problem is? Has anyone been sucessful in getting the phone to communicate? I have already successfully imported my Nokia Contacts into the LG SyncLite Software. Thanks for the Help in advance

can the Classic 161 or any other phone allow you to transfer your existing contacts from a Nokia phone to it?

Dear All, I have a Reliance Postpaid Connection(for over 4 years) and currently use the Nokia 3125. I have a DKU-5 Data Cable and know how to copy my contacts from the cellphone. However I don't know how to use Reliance netconnect and neither do i have the software. I have thoroughly searched Reliance's website & also gone to their Webworld but I can't find the Software anywhere. I have installed the Driver for the Cable already & use it with PC Suite. Can anyone who has the software please upload it or tell me where to download it from with detailed instructions on how to use it. I have successfully used Reliance Netconnect with my oldLG RD 2030 but don't know how to do the same with the Nokia 3125. Can the experienced RemWebians please help out. As of this moment I don't think any reliance phone supports A2DP. Probably someone like Sadikh can correct me if I am wrong or if he has been able to achieve this on the UTstarcom VX6700

Here is a Huge list of LG Phones. most of them are CDMA. Check them out. Does anybody know when the LG RD9800 will be launched. i am very interested. when will the 2505 be available. there is a real dearth of Low priced Nokia Handsets available in the market. Nobody sells a 3125 or 2112 anymore(I have asked enough shopkeepers for it) The cheapest handset available is the Nokia 2255. Which IMHO is a piece of Crap. 200 Contacts with 2 Entries each, no Net connect no Rworld and it still costs Rs5000/- The Nokia 1255 is not worth considering as it has no interface port and hence no way to transfer your contacts into it or out of it.

Can some more people offer solutions, especially closer to Chembur, Ghatkopar, Sion side to make the 3125 RUIM compatible

Well u wont be able to do it urself, as it required kind of hardware. U can visit MANISH MARKET and get it done. While entering MANISH MARKET just see right side u will see board BABLU MOBILES. visit them they will do it for u. u have to assure them that ur a customer as they dont do it in open market. DOnt pay them more than 300 bucks. Thanks Sadik, but where in Bombay in Manish Market and how can you get there from Chembur, Sion ? Besides is there any other shop that could do this for me anywhere near Chembur, Ghatkopar or Sion? I don't mind paying the shop keeper to get it done. One more query i have now used a Handset change Card to transfer my no. from my LG phone to the Nokia 3125, would the shopkeeper still be able to make the 3125 RUIM compatible now that it is provisioned with a phone no. When they convert my phone to an RUIM phone do we loose all the contacts?
