  1. LG G2 LS980 Sprint CDMA/GSM

I'm getting irritated with LG G2. Be it GSM or CDMA, after using the phone post factory reset, the phone automatically rejects all calls. Neither it shows any pop up nor notification. Sleep mode, call reject everything is set to no. I have to say, LG is proving itself to be an LG.
  2. RUIM has its own user name and password, which is usually pulled while establishing the connection. Its difficult to understand what is causing service disabled on this phone, no information is available from Sprint either.
  3. So a user activates Rs 98 1GB pack on his CDMA number. What is he expected to see on the device? 1x or 3G? What would be the speed for this plan? If a user has HSD activated on his number, was previously getting 3G, would he be seeing 1x post activation of this plan? IMHO, CDMA is the biggest waste of time and evergy I ever had. I do not even see a value proposition in terms of saving money.
  4. CDMA OMH - Motorola Droid Razr

On Stock JB, 1x not working even after modifications.
  5. CDMA OMH - Motorola Droid Razr

Can 1x Data work on Dionic JB via OMH / RUIM card? Well, it doesn't seem to be working for me.
  6. Motorola Droid Bionic

Bionic OS: Jelly Bean 98.72.22 Reliance Connection: RUIM 1. Made changes to build.prop as below: ro.mot.phonemode.vzw4gphone=0 telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=0 ro.cdma.nbpcd=0 ro.mot.eri=0 ro.cdma.home.operator.isnan=0 ro.telephony.gsm-routes-us-smsc = 0 ro.mot.phonemode.vzwglobalphone=0 2. Tried accessing /system/etc/ppp/peers/pppd-ril.options.xml -> The file doesn't exist in JB by default -> Created the folder peers and file pppd-ril.options.xml and gave chmod 777 permission Further, made changes to db files using aShell as stated by matrix at: http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/26724-guide-3g-data-on-droid-bionic-razr-wo-lte-sim-on-jb-stock-non-verizon-carrier/ Result = No 1x Data
  7. Motorola Droid Bionic

I'm trying to get Data working on Droid Bionic for Reliance. I can see that phone picks PPP Config from RUIM, just to be on safer side I overwrote PPP Config without the SIM for the phone but still no avail. Is there anything I'm missing? 1x should work by default.
  8. @dr.faramroze Apologies for not being able to understand you correctly. Does it mean that - Now you have set your username and password to "net" and you are able to use EVDO? This would contradict what was mentioned earlier that HDR userID and password would be required to run EVDO, and "net" username and password would allow only 1x Data. Please be kind to clarify.
  9. Dear All, Please find my query and scenario below: Scenario: Phone A - Samsung S2 Epic 4G Touch Phone B - Samsung Corby Phone C - Nokia 2112 Phone A (Epic Touch) was registered with Reliance, call, text, data working. The number was then transferred to Phone B (Samsung Corby) and was functioning properly with call, text and data working. Nokia 2112 has a Reliance R-UIM and its number has to be ported to Phone A (Epic Touch). Data is still functioning on Phone A (Epic Touch) Action Taken: Retrieved NV Items for Epic Touch to understand how data is working. Used QPST to figure out HDR Username and Password. Issue: Unable to make sense of any data available from above actions. Requirement: > To figure out how Data is working on Phone A (Epic Touch). > To put R-UIM number into Epic Touch by programming (as an experiment) Action Taken for R-UIM to non R-UIM change: Can retrieve ESN from Nokia 2112 for the R-UIM in it. Can change ESN for Epic Touch, however it starts with 80 this MEID has to be disabled. Some suggestion whether above conversion would work or not would be helpful. Also would data get effected with ESN, MEID converstion? Appreciate some advice. Thanks
  10. Not much of a luck, have finally realized all the time and effort is not worth it if no knowledgeable member is eager to share his knowledge. I don't wanna brick device or data and then hop around trying to figure out how to JTAG. Its better to keep this as a hobby than to deep dive. But have got the backup of NVItems and every other thing that I can using CDMA Tools and others. Maybe will play around with ##DATA# to figure out whats going on. Thanks for bumping though.
  11. Thanks, but I'm still far away from giving up....
  12. There used to be a link to generate these usernames and password. Would it be possible to share it?
  13. A member mentions: "When you register your MEID and opt for EVDO, you are provided with user and password Something like XYZ@hrpd.rcom.co.in And for 1X your phone number is your user name and password"
  14. Dear All, I've been trying to square on a CDMA phone that matches up to what GSM HTC HD2 has been. HTC HD2 is the phone that runs nook and corners of GSM device programmers community as the most hackable phone. It runs anything and everything that is available for mobile devices. However, I had not been able to find a similar phone on GSM network. Certain aspects for the suitable candidate: Must have: 1. Should be well supported by the community, wherein various ROMs, kernels are available. 2. Should run Reliance CDMA 3G data plan. 3. Have PRLs for various other Indian operators viz. Tata, MTS. Shouldn't have: 1. Samsung Epic Touch has its bootloader embedded with ROM, thus at times wiping through CWM, the chances of bricking the device is high. The phone should be easy to program in terms of loading the ROM and safe from Bootloader's point of view. 2. HTC Incredible 2 has a problem when a ROM is loaded, it loses its NVdata values and thus NVdata has to be reloaded to enable data. The phone should not effect CDMA values while changing ROMs. I request the members to add some more points and conclude on a phone that can be a great buy for members who want to enjoy using their CDMA device with data on Indian networks in hassle free manner. Thanks
  15. After going through some posts Samsung Fascinate seems like a good option.
  16. Interesting... You could have saved me some hours
  17. On the lines of Data: What is the significance of using different user names like: omhtest@omh.relianceinfo.com xxxxxxxxxxxx@hrpd.rcom.co.in And from where can one obtain HDR username and password?
  18. @rajanmehta Two reasons why I'm trying to port R-UIM number to non-RUIM based handset: 1. I would like to know, understand and experiment whether disabling MDIN and changing ESN can achieve this task? 2. Its strange but from Epic Touch, call is not getting completed to *229 (for HCC) and *228 is getting disconnected after language selection IVR. Undoubtedly, my last resort is webworld wherein I can get the resolution. However, I'm pushing to achieve the mentioned concept. For EVDO Data still active, I did went through the link earlier. A fellow member mentioned using data on a previously activated phone for 5-6months, however my objective is to understand how its working and what what HDR settings.
  19. IMHO, changing ESN is illegal when its used for cloning. New rules from FCC do state that.
  20. Hello Everyone, I am a little screwed up with this LSI 110 of mine. The important fact being i recently recharged it with Rs 795 voucher and 5days now its going all waste. The problem: After a lot of throws, the PF and J5(maybe diode) got misaligned from its place, this resulted in no signal on the phone. While pressing the PF with thumb, everything was working fine, so i used the blower and got J5 and PF on its place. Now, i have full signal for 5 seconds and no signal for another 5 seconds. Its like signal comes and goes. I am unable to make any calls. I think i took some resistance out of its place from the area near the PF. As you can see in the picture, i tried fixing anonymous resistance and diode to that place but it didnt work. A lot of trial resulted in track lifting from the board, so now either the future of this phone is dull or i am sure i need to pull a wire. I would be greatful if anyone can revert back to me with a solution to this problem. Preferably circuit diagram or even a picture from this specific area of phone would be great help. regards Ayush
  21. Car Charger For Fwp And Fwt Phones

Hello Everyone Recently i've realized the need for charging my CDMA phones in car. I did a lot of research and was unable to find car charger for FWP and FWT phones. I think no such charger is available in market. Maybe a normal charger can be modified and used with these phones, but i am not sure about it. I about appreciate if anyone is using one such car charger for FWP or FWT phones, revert back to me with details. Also if custom made, how can it be done? Thanks Ayush
  22. Car Charger For Fwp And Fwt Phones

Thanks for that reply brother. The Idea was the one which strike me the moment i joined the hunt. What you forgot about is something called voltage and current. Nokia uses 5.7V at 0.8Amp where as FWP requires 12V at 0.5Amp. Now thats a big difference.. I don't think plugging a parallel wire is the best idea, but yeah if one car charger with 12V out at 0.5 to 0.8 Amp may work. Thats quite hard to find coz i already tried. Anyways, till now the inverter is the best solution which i locked on but its for more expensive as compared to charger. But maybe its worth.. regards Ayush
  23. Car Charger For Fwp And Fwt Phones

Thnx for the information mate. Here are a few links which i got about car inverters available in india.. http://www.axiomenergy.co.in/mcartfree/modprod.asp http://www.almajeed.co.in/ http://cgi.ebay.in/Portable-75-watt-Car-po...6QQcmdZViewItem Its all from axiom. I think 75watt is enough for day to day requirements. The pricing is from Rs 1,190. But i am sure this device must be available in grey market for less than Rs 600. regards Ayush
  24. Car Charger For Fwp And Fwt Phones

My requirement is a bit unusual but still i don't think Rs 5,000 is something worth it. Moreover being a pro i'll be damned if anyone buys a damned car charger for five grands lol. People post some useful ideas... AND NO OUT OF WORLD BUSINESS
