I would like to connect my Samsung Phone SCH-S379 to my Palm TX PDA for calling contacts from my phone. I was able to connect any of the GSM phones using the Generic GSM phone options when I select other phone I get an option of initialization string. Can HETAL or any other developer help me with this problem. I am able to use the same phone as Bluetooth modem in my PDA.

Okay I have installed a 2 GB microSD card in this mobile but whenever I try to copy some songs on it. It says unsupported format. Whenever I open the music player it opens with a message "supports mp3 upto 100" Anyone else also facing problems like this?

I will require help of all the programmers on this forum. I bought Samsung SCH S379 Muzik phone to be used with my Palm TX Handheld. Earlier I was using My GSM Sony Erricsson phone for this purpose the phone would work seamlessly with my handheld without installing any drivers on the handheld I would just click on the phone no on the handheld and the phone would dial the number for me I was using generic phone driver for the purpose. Before purchasing this handset I spoke to the store and they said that this phone can be used as a bluetooth wireless modem with any computer. This encouraged me to think may be I can use this phone with my handheld as well. Now on bluetooth scan my Handheld detects this phone however I am not able to dial or send sms using the phone. I think some problem with the initialization. The good part is the same handheld can dial a dial up connection using the phones modem to connect to reliance internet and I can use the bluetooth wireless modem for browsing internet on the move. On my handheld custom connection to a phone I saw init string as E0V1+CMEE=1;+CMGF=0 Can I create a custom connection to interact with the dialer of this phone. I am sure if there is a way to dial to isp there should be a way to dial to any one else....... If you want I can send screen shots of the settings...

Is there any plan existing now in India in which I can get unlimited calling to one no in Mumbai free? I was told there was one regional plan available with Tata Indicom in Chandigarh with which calling up one tata number anywhere in India was free... My fren is using that plan despite the fact that he is not staying in Chandigarh... Can anyone confirm if such a plan is available anywhere in India???

And if you want you can download and install Dumeter to keep a check at your end and also select option of warning you when you are left with say last 500 mb of usage or optionally after every 100 mb of usage... And crosscheck if reliance site is showing correct data.

Tell me what software you want I have a couple of them... One of this catalogues all your cds and keeps the database on your computer when you search for a song on your comp... It tells you which cd contains it you can insert it and listen to the song.... This is the software I got when I googled initially... Later I found what I wanted... Hey you could find that on reliance site... or any web world I had checked up sometime back reliance is offering datacards for approx Rs 2990... Some of the plans are Freedom at night 400/pm in which you get unlimited surfing and download between night 10 to morning six, Platinum rental 1500/pm anytime unlimited download then there are data plans of 400 mb and 1 Gb cap which have a rental of 400 and 650 respectively... You can just recheck the last two rentals again... Think before you buy a Datacard Reliance Datacards are not T Sim or RUIM enabled i.e. these things cannot be utilised on TATA or Garuda networks however the same is true for TATA and BSNL datacards... You can plan and go for a TATA datacard and utilise it with Reliance TSIM... charges for Tata datacard is 2850/- I would request someone to post a feedback on the speed of the said combination vis a vis speed of normal reliance datacard....

Hey Saikh... If I buy a tata plug2surf and get reliance ruim from some where how can I change over my handset plan to ruim or is it possible to maintain or put the same connection that is on my 6130 handset to the datacard as well...

you are not getting coverage... or you can say you are connected but speed is almost nil....

Ya a very good match which I did misssss half the way cos I was supposed to drop mom to station the same day.. In fact most of the time I was on phone checking up the scores from my bro in Mumbai

I do agree that none of the services can provide good coverage at all the places.. but as compared to my airtel reliance surely has got good voice clarity.. only thing what I hate is the way strength falls down when you shift by a few feet or move indoors... I get good voice clarity on my reliance set outside my room even average download speeds of over 120 kbps (download only) but the moment I move inside my room(just one feet away) the phone is outside network so I have to maintain an Airtel connection so that ppl can reach me and call me outside...and half the time I am sitting in front of my house with my lappy in a chair to use internet....

can these handsets be used to browse on internet as well... guys please post a review asap... my old reliance phone is down
