Very much correct Sir. In todays The Times Of India, there is a news that Airtel CEO met TRAI Chairperson stating that Airtel is working to provide more POIs to Jio and that it may take a few weeks to do so. They are just killing time. But here in Mumbai Voda is the most notorious. Vodafone is not allowing outgoing calls from V to Jio also. Whereas Airtel nos can be still contacted after 3 to 4 attempts. -

Here in Mumbai, Vodafone is blocking calls to their network more than Airtel. -

Maybe its a Band problem. Jio sim in my Samsung J7 shows only 1 bar whereas in my Redmi 3S Prime shows full bars at the same place. -

My Lyf handset bundled sim got transferred to JWO from JPO yesterday. And the best part is that now my Jio sim is working in my Redmi 3S Prime handset which was not the case 2 days ago. -
I migrated to 4G from CDMA. Mumbai circle postpaid. And I have successfully ported out to Vodafone. Generated the UPC on 11th August and submitted documents on the same day. And was on Vodafone network on 16th midnight. Sent from my E5363 using Tapatalk

Friends i have a query, I am a post paid user. I have heard that Reliance 4G is going to be launched officially on 15th August. So after the official launch can we expect any changes in the network quality as i have heard that they are going to pair their network with that of Jio. Because currently the network at my place is very pathetic with minimal call connectivity and lots of call drops. So i was thinking of porting out to Vodafone in a day or two. But if the network is going to improve then i may not. Please advise.

Reliance 4G proving to be very costly compared to RCDMA. In CDMA postpaid i had 1000 L+N minutes, 100 sms, and 2 GB EVDO data in 399 plan. Yesterday i got an sms stating that now i am getting 750 L+N mins, 100 sms, and 512 MB 4G data. So 512 MB vs 2 GB data. This is cheating since Reliance had told that the existing CDMA plans wont be changed in 4G. Am thinking to port out to some other operator. Is JIO going to be launched on 15th August? Am thinking of porting to JIO.

Just been to Reliance Digital to get Jio sim for the Samsung offer. They said that the jio sim is being given only to those samsung customers who have purchased their phones from Modern Retail Outlets like Vijay Sales, Croma, Reliance Digital etc only and not to those bought from local stores even if its samsung S7. The guy even showed me the official sms he got from Jio stating the same. Now again what new tricks is Mr.Mukesh Ambani going to play? What the hell? Now they want us to buy handsets only from bigger retail outlets at more price even if our neighbourhood local shop is giving a discount of maybe 2K on same model. I dont see any reason for them to do this.

Well, again the Rcom website is showing a timer of 24 hours more....Maybe they will give pure LTE speeds by tomorrow morning. Sincerely assume that some technical integration is going on in the final stages.

Till yesterday i couldnt latch to Reliance LTE network, but from today 10 am i am able to. But still no 4G or LTE icon appears on the screen and it shows H+ only. The 3G speed has definately gone up in my clinic from 1 mbps to 4 mbps since today morning and at my home from 0.06 mbps ( nearly impossible to use the net) to 1.5 mbps today morning. I think that they have removed the capping on the internet speed from today. But the net is showing as H+ and not LTE.

The 2G and 3G network of RGSM is just pathetic in my area. Call connectivity is very bad and call drops occur. The network is just 1 bar where i live and no 3G data speed. Moreover, the 4G launch seems to be extended. IMO if one cant even make proper and clear voice calls its of no use. Considering RGSM 4G to be launched on 850 mhz the internet penetration would be very good but then theres no guarantee that the voice call clarity and connectivity (fallback on 2G) will improve. RGSM seriously needs to improve 2G and 3G also. Correct me if i am wrong.

I am from Mumbai Circle. The 3G data speed at my residence is 0.06 mbps, which is too slow to open a single page, but elsewhere outside it is maximum 1 mbps. I think Reliance has capped the maximum speed to 1 mbps.
