    The process is as given below:

    The data can be transferred from LG .csv files to Nokia phones by

    Following these steps:

    1. Copy the .csv file received from LG to the PC.

    2. Make a new folder (eg. Test) in Contacts folder of Microsoft Outlook.

    3. Now in Microsoft Outlook

    Go to "File"

    --> SELECT "Import & Export..."

    --> select from the next menu "Import and Export from another file"

    --> Click "Next"

    --> Select from the next menu "Comma Seperated Values (windows)"

    --> Click "Next"

    --> Select "Browse" and browse the LG file from where the

    data has to be copied.

    --> Click "Next"

    --> Select from the next menu the Test folder of Outlook

    which was created earlier.

    --> Click "Next"

    --> From Next window using the "Map Custom Fields..." map the fields

    (THIS CAN BE USED TO MAP CORRESPONDING FIELDS of CSV FILE TO BE

    COPIED TO CORRESPONDING OUTLOOK FIELD).

    --> Select "Finish".

    --> Data will be copied to Microsoft Outlook in the "Test" folder.

    PC SUITE DATA TRANSFER STEPS--

    --> Now connect the phone using DKU-5 or CA-42 (for models like

    2112, 6225, 3105, 3125 etc) OR DKU-2 (only for 6255 and 6235) to the PC.

    --> Once the phone is connected to PC Suite the PC suite icon on the

    Windows Taskbar turns blue-green from grey.

    --> Now open PC Suite --> Select Synchronize Option from menu.

    --> On next window click on "Settings" button. This will take you to

    Create Settings Wizard of PC Suite

    --> Next window shows default "Microsoft Outlook" application

    selected.

    Click on next.

    --> Now check only "Contacts" Checkbox, and uncheck all other

    options and click next.

    --> On the next window click on "Select Folders" button and browse &

    select the folder where we had copied contacts earlier (Test folder

    created here as an example).

    --> Now in the next window select "Finish", this will start the

    Synchronization and contacts from selected folder of Outlook will be

    copied to the Nokia Phone.

    OPTIONAL-- Before clicking "Finish" there is one more option

    --> "Advanced" which can be used to set the direction of synchronizing

    data i.e. the data from Microsoft Outlook only can be copied to Phone or

    vice-versa.)

    i have simple idea just buy new blank sim from webworld and remove old sim card from nokia 6265 and fit the blank sim card on 6265 and get the HCC card from webworld and transfer lg phone no to nokia6265 and cancel ur old number and return old simcard to webworld with cancelation application.

    I had the same problem in my 6265 2 months back. The problem is common with all sliding models. The wire strip connecting upper half and lower half of sliding phone will get defected when we slide frequently. To solve this problem we need to replace the wire strip with new one. It costs more than 1000 INR. this will affect display, speaker, memory card, front keys etc..

    It costs Rs. 1260/-. My handset developed the same problem & I got the strip changed in Nokia Care for this amount. However, I got the handset only after 18 days.

    just go to local technician he was change the wire strip just for 300/- and give within fifteen minutes not go in custmor care this is the common problem for nokia6265 each person face the same problem

    HI All Rimweb Guru,

    I am planning to use my CDMA Htc touch bought in USA with either relaince or TATA, so need you valuable help in understanding floowing things.As per Hetal guru's research I guess we can use it on Tata.

    1) Is any one able to use Wap from the handset

    2) Can we use full internet from the handset itself by using QNC (quick connect) on tata or RIM ustar handset 6700 using #777.

    3) is there any other procedure through which we can use full internet not just wap from the handset itself, like push email or skype like tools

    I compared the sw versions of two handsets one purchased in FEB 07 other somewhere in AUG 07 they had different versions so I suppose there is an update now whether it is available to us or not that you can find out.

    Does anyone want to increase Nokia 6275 CDMA handset headphone volume as a rocking.

    I have a idea to increase the volume to maximum level where you all agree with me that Nokia 6275 volume is tremoundsly large other than any CDMA phone. if any one want please mark a mail on this ID only

    I just now bought chinese Mobile Model CECT 9898. It has duel sim (gsm/cdma), duel bluetooth, touchpad, duel camera 3MP....

    I just wanted to add CDMA IP number to my handset so that I will be able to use RWORLD. Earlier I was using Nokia 6275.

    Please help me and provide all the procedures for incorporating CDMA IP NUMBER ...

    Hi friends,

    I have observed a little weird behavior in my nokia 6275 CDMA.

    When I click on middle button for getting menu, "messages" icon is selected which is on top left position...

    In other nokia phones I saw pressing the middle key selects the "gallery" icon, which is in middle of the screen.

    I can move "gallery" icon to top left, if I want that icon to make default select.

    But that doesn't solve the navigation solution...

    If default selected icon is the middle one, then navigation to other icons becomes easy...

    Is this behavior only in my phone, or it is there for all nokia 6275 CDMA handsets?

    How can I get the default icon to be middle one?

    Any help/guidance will be highly appreciated...

    in 6275 the default icon set on top of left when us set gellary to top of left the default icon is gallery when u select message in top of the left the default icon is message so this is the simple

    Yes I can also access Wap now . i've downloaded Gmail client and Opera mini ... however there is a strange and irritating problem. :Equivocado:

    After i download and install these applications using WAP , they run properly for the first time since the installer runs them after the install, but when i close them and try to run again by going to the Collections folder .. these applications or their Icons are missing and when i try to download them again it says "Same version of the application already installed"

    Can anyone please help .. ???

    You have a way- I tried it and worked. Remove R-world from you RIM mobile then u can easily use all the application - which will work all the time

    how do u remove r-world from the handset coz even i downloaded mobilefighter from getjar.com and after successful installation msg i m unable to find it in the collections folder

    u can only use mobi mb media browser for downloading games in nokia 6255 not other software do this.

    i have successfully changed the right soft key from Rworld to Gallery. Now there is one problem. when i click on the Rworld icon in main menu, that too opens gallery. how to solve this ?

    Any other settings we can change using diego for 6265

    i have successfully changed the right soft key from Rworld to Gallery. Now there is one problem. when i click on the Rworld icon in main menu, that too opens gallery. how to solve this ?

    Just press 0 for 5seconds u will able to use r world easily

    HI,

    I have left with no option but to change my hand set LG 5130 because of the sensitivity problem even after upgrading the S/W at LG service centre.

    I have now narrowed down to go in for LG 6600 and I have a few quiries:

    1) Can I connect to the Reliance Net from my bluetooth enabled Laptop( HP nx6110) .

    2) If not, can I use the DATA cable of LG 5130 on LG 6600?

    3) I prefer to browse the net on my Bluetooth enabled laptop(HP nx6110). Can you pls suggest the procedure.
