  3. Dude,,, If you have ever made ringtones on a samsung mobile's composer... then probably I can help you out on how I do it. Get this software called Cakewalk Pro... What I do is I choose the instruments after I very very carefully listen to the song that I am gonna make a ring tone out of.. usually.. the first choice of instruments may turn out to be wrong.. but I choose the closest possible instrument option... and change them later.. to the best fitted option... then usually I write "staff notations" for each instrument seperately... U dont need to have the knowledge of western music notes for this.. If you have made ringtones on any simple samsung mobile.. then you will have the idea on how to go about ... The best option is ... that you should first decide the beats.. so that you can synchronize your music with it easily... there are other methods to make ringtones too... U can use the inbuilt synthesizer provided in the software.. and use your keyboard to directly record your creation into a midi file... The other un-original options are... you get a wave to midi converter and make a wave file out of your mp3.... and get a wierd sounding monophonic clip... By monophonic I mean mono instrumental... Imagine the main voice, the chorus, and the drums all played using the same instrument... sounds pretty wierd beleive me... There are other softwares too... but mostly all professional music creators use cakewalk... Let me know if this helps you... Rao
