    LTE band support and VOLTE support are two different things. LTE band support means data is supported. For VOLTE two things needed,

    -Hardware support from mobile chipset

    -Feature enabled in software

    Gionee Marathon M5 has Mediatek MT6735 processor. No clarity whether it supports VOLTE.

    Can you check in settings whether anywhere Enable VOLTE or similar setting is showing?

    MEID Registration Stopped = You can't now use Non SIM based handsets. (Because you can't register MEID)


    It is not necessary to buy a phone which works with CDMA SIM (& not locked to other carriers) only from reliance store.

    You can buy it from anywhere else and use your existing CDMA prepaid card.


    This is not the topic for inviting handset recommendation.

    After a lot of flip flops, Cyanogen has finally clarified that Oneplus One sold in india through amazon will not receive any further OTA OS update on their blog >> https://cyngn.com/blog/2014/12/oneplus-one-global-device-update/

    As we had pledged to our users, OnePlus One global devices will receive our OTA firmware updates. If a user in India purchased a OnePlus One global device in channels outside of India, they will receive our OTA firmware updates. However, this excludes OnePlus One regional devices sold directly in India. We are committed to our exclusive partnership in India with Micromax, which will be launching its first Cyanogen OS device under their new YU brand.
