hi friends need suggestion for phablet / tablet for senior citizen
(gsm mobile data mandatory) in mid Budget range 10K - 15K
requirement to use app like facebook, skype, and easy of use.
primary requirement is to keep in touch with extended family abroad
i am thinking about Redmi Note or Asus phonepad pls any suggestuon
dropping idea of Ipad just due to price. (may be it would have ticked all the requirement)

Yes. The unlocked version currently on sale at amazon should work in india but do keep in mind that it has forked version of android (Fire OS) by amazon which means no google play store or other google apps/services.

HomeRoam 349 plan description is confusing. In first image it says free incoming roaming & 750 all india minutes including roaming. In second image it says *Excluding Roaming but then again says 750 all india mins including roaming. You better clarify with CC.In SpecialDZERO plan there is flat rate of 50 paise per minute for Local/STD/Roaming Calls with no separate rental. -
Check HOMEROAM_349 Plan details in below image.Another option would be to generate a portout request and when retention calls, ask for SpecialDZERO plan which has ZERO rental & all calls at 50 Paise Minute.

You need to tell them to transfer your existing number / do MDN retain. Give them the MEID of your registered Moto G (Which they refer as RSN). You have to fill a small form for number transfer, give your address / ID proof document copy & one photograph.Once it is done, you can do activation by dialling *228. -
