  1. Not possible dk Ji, akela seller eetana bada kand nahi kar sakata !

One big seller cannot stop all registration. It was stopped from inside reliance , officially stopped !

Sent by Moto G on Reliance CDMA

Are you suggesting that all those imported CDMA handsets like Moto G, Motorola Razr M, Samsung S3, Motorola Razr HD, Motorola Droid Mini, Samsnung Note 2 Samsung S4, Motorola Droid Ultra etc., sold on Reliance eShop (Obviously supplied by third party reputed seller/s as i find it laughable to believe that anyone within Reliance OR Girnar NewTel Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has the willingness/inclination or capability to import/programme those handsets) will no longer be available now after existing stock is over?(Because many of the models do require MEID registration)

Not sure why it would not work with TATA / MTS OMH SIM. AFAIK, no APN should be needed. In Reliance it is working without any APN through OMH SIM. Still if new APN is not created / saved from settings menu, you can try this method,
Warning: Do not mess with any other setting in Programming Menu unless you know what it means. You may make your perfectly working phone a glorified paper weight.
    • Open Phone Dialer
    • type #073887* and tap phone receiver button
    • New window will open asking SPC password, Enter it and tap verify
    • Programming Menu will open
    • Scroll down to 17. APN Controls & tap
    • Tap APN Config Edit
    • Tap On top right 3 dot setting
    • Tap New APN
    • Enter APN Values & save

As i have said in one of my very old post, none of this portable HDD brands like A Data, Transcend, Dell and many others manufacture hard drive themselves. Drives are manufactured by only a handful brands like Seagate, WD, Toshiba. One of this is used by all so there is no question of comparing how good it is vis-a-vis Seagate & others. AFAIK the A Data Drive suggested uses Toshiba HDD. I have not used that drive personally but reviews all across are generally positive.
I have given a link for 2TB in my earlier post for Rs 6,101 but incidentally now it is available for Rs 5,999 which seems to be the cheapest for a 2TB portable HDD of any brand. >> http://www.amazon.in/Adata-AHV620-Portable-External-Drive/dp/B00EIEY4OM/ref=sr_1_43?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1400923837&sr=1-43
Don't think there are deals for 3TB portable. I guess 3TB in portable is not even available.
But if your son is going to US & will stay there for a long time, why not buy it from there to have local warranty.

It must be in NV_Only Mode, so it will not recognise CDMA SIM & network. Just configure it to RUIM only mode through DFS & it will work. Follow the tutorial on forum on how to put handset in RUIM mode.

Sir wanted help to unlock Electrify 2 for CDMA.

As I am new, please guide step by step

My post which you have quoted says clearly what you need to do. It also says there is a tutorial on forum by Vinodbhai on how to put any handset in RUIM mode (Which is detailed step by step, You atleast need to take the trouble of searching for it). Other points for DIAG mode is in this topic itself.
Otherwise for STEP BY STEP as i am also NEW to construction, i will have to order cement, sand, steel, hire engineer, labour and then construct a staircase for you. :Sorprendido:

  5. But out of no where, today I've received a call from Delhi(Reliance No. +918468954681), a lady spoke & started saying a case has been filed in Delhi High Court for non-payment so & so amount(around Rs.1200/- or so) on my Netconnect + Dongle. I asked the details of the case(number) so that I can look & take the necessary action on why my connection closure request hasn't been processed within the stipulated time, the lady got angry and put down the call saying(shouting rather) I need to visit the court.

In my life I've never received any charges or even reprimands by local police(heck even from normal people) for any doing of mine, because I always stay away from all the unnecessary activities. And tomorrow, if a case is filed on my name or if I receive court summons(to appear before court) on this silly issue(that too for something that I didn't do any wrong), it would be just disgusting to say the least. So, here I'm posting all this information so that if some one is out there to give me right suggestions(may be some legal opinions) to tackle this issue and how to resolve it. If possible I would like to remind Reliance that customers are not some dumb items to play with them.

Don't worry. Such type of calls are standard operating procedure to pressurize people in paying up & fake threats from either recovery department / outsourced agencies. No cases are ever filed in any court for such low amounts. Secondly even if the case has to be filed (ZERO possibility), it will be in the nature of civil suit and has to start from a lower court & not directly at high court level.
You should approach Reliance appellate authority with a complaint regarding closure of connection. Details of appellate authority for each circle is here >> http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/customercare/appellate_authority.html
At the same time, file a complaint with PGPORTAL mentioning they are not closing your connection despite request and still raising bills. It works very well with Reliance for solving all types of issue. Refer this topic >> http://www.rimweb.in/forums/topic/30435-pgp-portal-telecom-related-complaints-resolution/

Instead of settling for inferior/no name brand tv only for DC input, you may consider using car power invertor which converts 12V DC to 220V AC. Lots of models available on ebay like this >> http://www.ebay.in/sch/i.html?_odkw=car+power+inverter+12v+dc+to+ac+220v&_sop=15&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1311.R1.TR10.TRC0.A0.H0.Xcar+power+inverter&_nkw=car+power+inverter&_sacat=0

  8. Motorola Moto E launched in India,

To be available on Flipkart priced at Rs 6,999

    moto-e.jpg

As expected, Motorola has launched the Moto E in India. Motorola’s entry-level phone is priced at Rs 6,999, and will be exclusively available on Flipkart at midnight.

The specifications are consistent with what leaked last week, and the Moto E flaunts a 4.3-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) display with a pixel density of 256ppi and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Like the Moto G, the Moto E too has a nano coating on the inside as well as the outside, which can protect is against the accidental splash of water. It is powered by a Snapdragon 200 dual-core SoC clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM. Also included is 4GB internal storage, which unlike on the other two Motorola smartphones, is expandable using a microSD card.

The Moto E also features a 5-megapixel rear camera, but misses out on a front camera, a 1,980mAh battery and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The dual-SIM function on the Moto E comes with intelligent calling, which learns your usage and automatically selects the SIM based on the contact you are calling.

On the software front, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, with Motorola guaranteeing that it will be upgraded to the next version. Motorola has also added features like Moto Alert, which automatically alerts preset contacts when you leave a particular location, Instant SMS with your location for emergency situations, and an Emergency mode, which sends a call to a preset contact or sound an alarm. These new features will first be introduced on the Moto E. Customization options include removable shells in nine colors.

  9. Well... The new karbonn titanium s1 plus seems to me like the exact same phone as the lava iris 406q. Exact same specs, same button placement, same loudspeaker placement (same as earpiece), same battery n sim placements. Just the outer shell seems to be changed.

Also, it manages to be still cheaper than the lava 406q!! Retailing for just 5.7k !!

You can wait for Moto E which will be launched in india on 13th. Going by the leaked/rumoured specs which seems pretty good for a pricing around Rs 8-9K from brand like Motorola, it can turn out to be a game changer as far as budget android handsets go.
