  1. Sierra Wireless Card

Yes Ashok, I know u can read smaller fonts as well. I just posted a new thread for ZTE so that everyone can see that. U guys are expert moderators so u can find the followup threads but for dump fellows like myself it becomes difficult to find an updated info.....anyways.... RIC CS donno anything...... more or less Reliance is gonna launch the ZTE card with in a day or so.... believe me the price point of Rs 6500 is something which will really push you to purchase the product.... this card is amazing. I have seen one when I was in US. This has an RUIM slot as well so the benefit is that in future if reliance comes out with RUIM, one can easily use it... may be one day we would be able to change services between CDMA operators... while travelling internationally.... Cheers Rahul
  2. Should I Go For Freedom@night Plan?

Hay Chirag wanna tell u that Reliance has improved a lot...!!!! They have started hiving good R Connect Services. They have lot of content on R World. Now Reliance also wanna make a brand image and not as gareebo ka phone.....lol
  3. Sierra Wireless Card

You wont get Sierra anymore. Reliance is launching a new datacard of ZTE for Rs 6500 only. This is same as Sierra and will hit the market in about a weeks time... So get prepared to purchase a ZTE Data Card. Cheers Rahul PS : we can read smaller font too! ashok
  4. Sierra Wireless Card

I dont aggree with both of you (Arun and Ashok).... I will give u a reason for it. Look the network is same and both the card and the phone uses the same network of 1X CDMA. Rite..!!!! Now lets find out where is the difference..!!! The difference is just bcos of the cable which u attache with your rim. Since cable has some resistance, there comes a slight difference in data exchange. Otherwise there is no difference in the speed. Card is for your comfort, elegance etc and nothing more.... Anyhow good news is that Reliance is reducing the price of the card further down to some Rs 6500. But the card will Not be a Sierra Card... It would be some other make card but the functionality will be absolutey same. Regards, Rahul
  5. New Time Based R-connect Plans !

Unless the only is a typo, Freedom/Freedom Plus customers are gonna find it difficult to keep track of their usage ! 44109[/snapback] No Arun, Reliance would make sure that no customer gets any problem in getting their unbilled usage on the portal. Infact Reliance would also make sure that Unbilled usage for Swift customer is also reflectedon the portal. Regards, Rahul
  6. New Time Based R-connect Plans !

Well said buddy.... U r the one who has clearly understood all the plans launched by Reliance. Pls understand this is how an ISP market works. The indian customer doesnot understand what is MB and GB's but they understand hours they have used. Imagine a situation when your cyber cafe guy starts asking you money on the basis of data exchange insted of time.... At that time I am sure u will curse him and will come down to your home. Reliance has not reduced any speed and will contin. concentrate on the customer care which is the moto of the Chairman Sh. Anil Ambani. Infact something good for u all is that Reliance is about to bring Prepaid Data Cards very soon. Regards, Rahul
  7. Sierra Wireless Card

see i was right....!!! the price has reduced to Rs 9900.... for the Reliance Sierra Data Card. I have heard that they are looking for a low cost device costing 5000 to us.... that would be cool man.... !!!!!! Rahul..... <REFRAIN FROM USING SO LARGE FONTS!>
  8. Sierra Wireless Card

Hey there is a Good News Guys...!!! Reliance is reducing the price for their Wireless Sierra Data Cards from Rs 13500 to Rs 9500... They are Big BOSS in Wireless Data Service and has become # 1 in INDIA.... Three Cheers for RELIANCE INFOCOMM.... :'(
  9. Sierra Wireless Card

I believe yours is a Sony Vio laptop. For resolution plz go to Sierra Wireless Website and search for sony laptop. You will get the solution there.
  10. Get an @ Ricmail.com Account

  11. Reduction In Prices Of Rconnect

Bhaiya aisa hai ki reliance is not gonna reduce the prices for their plans. Thats for sure. Sirf aachi khabar yeh hai ki.... atyant jankar sutro se pata laga hai ki reliance is gonna launch its prepaid data vouchers very soon and minimum would be for Rs 250. They would give some time for morning and some time for evening.
  12. Sierra Wireless Card

GTran EVDO card looks same like any PCMCIA Card. It supports 1X CDMA as well. Its a fundoo card. Since EVDO is deployed only in DAKC, i.e reliance office in Navi Mumbai, u can get speed only there. Since for EVDO n/w the RF is available like anything as this time so i get a speed of 700 kbps on wireless (Istay very lose to Reliance Office) . I purchased this card from US and got it configured in reliance through one of my friend. SO NOW I HAVE TAKEN PLATINUM PLAN AND I DOWNLOAD MOVIES, SONGS ETC ETC LIKE MAD...... Anyways, My Sierra is something which i purchased officially through reliance. The advantage is when ever i go to pune or delhi or anyhere in India, while travelling also i am able to surf on my laptop. Actually it made my laptop wireless in true sense. Imagine u r travelling by say Neeta Volvo from Mumbai to Pune and u wanna work on your laptop. U wanna send some office communication etc. Now I can do so as my office gives me a facility of VPN. So I just need to get connected on internet and login to my office network. and I am always with my office. Thats the benefit of Reliance man....
  13. Sierra Wireless Card

Chalo I will make some things clear to you. First thing: There is a spectrum issue at this point of time. Once the govt nnounces the spectrum, even after that Reliance is not gonna deploy the network for EVDO in more that 10 cities. Over an above the deployment of EVDO for 10 cities would take near about 6 month (not less than that)....lol.... I think you should better go and ask the same from some reliance guy who is looking after data business. Second : this device is damn cool. I think you should use it and after that you should comment on the performance of device. If u think u can wait for EVDO than better to go with Bharti who have completed the testing for their WiMax deployment. ..lol Third: Reliance will only launch EVDO Cards and it will not launch any phone for it. Your 7230 is NOT EVDO phone. I have one EVDO card with me from GTran. That also works perfect when I go near Reliance DAKC office. Rahul.
  14. Sierra Wireless Card

Hi Guys, I have recently purchased a Sierra Wireless Data Card for Rs 13499. Its damn cool stuff. Simply needs to insert it into your PCMCIA Slot and u r online anywhere anytime. Seems its really value for money. Something good is that u can send sms from your PC itself and make voice calls when ever required. (may be in case of emergency when ever your phones battery is out.... use phone inside your laptop..) It looks damn tech savey..... where ever i go ppl ask me whats this and when they see me surfing at a remote place that too wireless.... they r like ohhh its fundoo.... any comments from ur end guys..!!!
