  1. It is not a bad idea to keep changing your passwords, however, when you look in the context of millions of google mail users the numbers leaked are very small.

    This is for our safty how can we knew our password leaked or not.

    If you login then you will normally get the time of the last login. Also, if nothing has happened so far, then most probably you are safe.

    Very simple. If you want any info on EVDO from Tata all you get is a form, with a we will get in touch with you. That never happens. In one cae I got an ack saying w3e will revert to you.. still waiting. try the Reliance site and you get into an almost endless loop. No real information about tariff, module charges, locations, etc. As for BSNL it is not called 'Bhai Saheb Nahin Lagega' for nothing. The site may not have been updated for half a century (oops year).

    Is it not like mama bear guarding the honey!

    In any case BSNL will be my last choice. I have a fixed line broadband and it often conks out from 18:00 to 22:00. I still have no information on where to complain. The ultimate arbiter of BSNL (the lineman) thinks that half a dozen twisted joints on the cable are normal. I managed to install a small junction box on my wall, but they insist on not using the Krone connection, and twist the wires together. I am waiting for Airtel to come to my area and it will be adieu Bharat sarkar.


  3. i would like to say that my overall experience with myservices site is good. though it could have been more user friendly and also good interface.

    i had little problem of adding my cell phone. i found that since i was registered for old website, my account was created by default in new website. i called up CC and told them the problem. i got sms within a day, though informed that it will take 2-3 days about my old account details. i logged in with old account uid and pwd and registered number from there. again register number in new id.

    at times i face problem with sending PIN to the number. but then its reliance, it cant be perfect. you have to accept that. its like govt co, where there is everything still something will be always missing.

    It is exactly as you state. I have managed to create the account and password with the help of *222 who created it for me. Only even though the preferred communication channel is sms I got both on an e-mail instead.

    I tried to register the phone but have had no luck till now in getting the PIN - over 20 hours later. I have tried again this morning. Let us see or else I will contact *222 again.


  4. might be there is problem with some addon running on your system which might be creating the problem. thats why you are not able to see the bills on the IE8. i am using IE8 and it's working for me.

    now for the bill. there is a possibility. 1st is that in the new plan they are not charging one month advance rental. so they would have adjusted it against the adavnace rental paid by you for the previous plan.

    you can register for ebill through the customer care. and recieve all your bills on your mail. that will be the better option. and in order to pay the bill just use the VISABILLPAY many a times they do provide discount for the bill payment

    Thanks for the prompt response. Now I understand the reduced bill. As for Visa Bill Pay I use MC and not VISA. My bank gives me 5% cash back on telephone bills paid through the my MC Card.

    I have virtually nothing running under IE8 - I use it exclusively for the baulky sites to pay my bills. It may be that the bill info is offline at the moment. I will consider the registration option but still need the payment portal for both credit card payments, and the e-receipt. Also, last month I had paid through this portal only. Had no problems whatsoever.

    Some of the problems came since I probably forgot my new password, and it was not happy with the dob info. Maybe I had an error there.

    Now I can log in see my profile, but cannot pay bills. Looks like the section for the bill payments is off-line. I will try after lunch and then see.


  5. Last month I was able to go and pay my bills. I had changed my id and password as required. This month I have problems logging, would not accept the date of birth either. Then I went in a re-registered. Got the password by sms pronto. Then I am lost. I can login and see my profile.

    Now I could not see the bills page or a link tot hat. Then I tried to register account for Mobile. No in showed up on my mobile (preferred communication channel),

    Now when I log in I am sent into a blank page.

    Earlier, I had switched to Simple399 from Delight399. I have got an sms recently that my bill is Rs,192? How come when both plans are 399!

    Please advise on both points. I had switched to IE8 (both inside FF as well as independently) to get that far.

    PS: When I tried to register for mobile and then it gives a message 'no more services to register' for confirmation. I may add I had used this very portal without any fuss last month to pay my bills.

    I am either getting a blank page with some fancy borders or the above? I do not understand that why fix something which is not broken in the first place. If you do then debug it properly.
