    @ Dhaval Are you still running stock or jumped to any custom rom. I am irritated with the activation screen, can it be bypassed permanently. Any plain ROM you are aware for SM-N900P

    Dr Faramroze said it all. And Yes on 4.4.2 - NC5 it is working fine. Just root it and get rid of the annoying sprint activation and you are good to go.

    Yes Reliance OMH will work. Dr. Faramroze has also clarified in previous post. Btw I was able to get Wifi hotspot tethering to work on Sprint Note 3 by using Wifi Tether Router App.

    I am using Sprint Note 3 with Tata RUIM. Working fine with EVDO. How to use Wifi Tether on stock NC5 ROM. Is using custom ROM only way. If yes which ROM is most appropriate, closer to Stock.

Another new problem is that with the eBay's own shipping program, the buyer has lost control of marking item receipt. item receipt happens automatically, thereby stripping the last available option Recently I was shipped with a defective / used Auxus CoreX2 Tab by seller. When I open the ebay guarantee claim, I was told to get warranty from iberry even though there was no invoice or warranty card in the box. The ebay person handling the claim case was not trained enough and he closed the case directing me to go to iberry. I paid full price for an old defective tablet. I have escalated the case but I don't think I will get proper resolution.

    According to some insiders in TATA, got some info that TATA may opt for 700 mhz to use FDD-LTE. Could not confirm though. Let's Hope this Time LTE will not be as Looooong Term as was with introduction of 3G earlier for which the wait was nearly endless. On a positive note, if either RIM or TATA opt for 700 FDD-LTE then we might be able to use some verizon models here in India.

  19. In India, the CDMA operators have deployed much less BTS forcing the handsets to operate at higher power level to overcome the noise floor as clearly mentioned in deepan's earlier post. So the point that CDMA is less dangerous does not hold ground in India, CDMA networks like verizon have very high BTS density in US and there the fact is true that verizon subscribers have to suffer less radiation that AT&T GSM counterparts. But this analogy is not true for india. In the most cities of India, GSM micro site density is very high and GSM handsets operate at lower average RF Power ( except for few period of call inititation and also while call hand off between BTS ). GSM Subscribers who are at a spot where there is continuous handoff between BTS ( at fringes ) may experience increased RF power and consequently low backup and associated headaches.

    Install as many apps you like but before installing each app, cross check with the andriod community as to the feedback of every app you are going to install. Otherwise as Rajanji has aptly put it "Dhundhate Rahe Jaoge" Syndrome. If one has the habit of installing every app that comes the way then problems will crop up even after an hard reset. Current breed of phones have huge memory available, so more is chance of installing a rogue app.

  25. I have been using Galaxy Note since mid Nov and I do not feel the ill effects of Pentile config at the resolution offered by note. I can only feel the grainyness on white background with non black text at very small point sizes in the browser. At other times it is almost undetectable while watching from normal viewing distance. A good trade off between quality of display vs manufacturability vs HD resolution. Btw the size is homongous , you will either like it or fully hate it, nothing in between, you know what I mean. The galaxy nexus screen will definitely be outstanding since it gives almost same resolution at smaller screen thereby enhancing density further.
