    Today when i was going out I saw cable being laid in my area on closer look I found Reliance jio infocomm ltd written on them. The guys who were installing it told me that it is being laid in my entire city patna. I also took some pics which I am posting here and if you look closely after zooming them you can see reliance jio infocomm ltd written on them. can somebody tell me after looking the pic if these wires are for cell site back haul or for fibre broadband. It will pass just 150-200 metres away from my residence. I wish it is for fibre broadband as it is being laid all around the city. can any one confirm?

    Submission of such call and location detail may not have legal standing. It could be even fake. Though it is said telco keep call record for one year in gujarat cbi is extracting 9 years old records in fake encounter cases. <br /><br />Visit lawyersclubindia.com and post your queries. I am sure you can sue airtel for criminal breach of trust and privacy

    You are right the judge has refused to accept these as evidence as there is no proof if they are real are not obtained by police. But I have seen the call records and tower information both are correct. I just want to make sure nothing like this happens in the future.

    Friends today I received a copy of a case against me filed by a certain individual with whom I am having some dispute. The dispute and the person is not relevant here but what came as a big shock to me that he had submitted along with other documents like hotel and taxi receipts DETAILS FOR MY DELHI AIRTEL PREPAID NUMBER. THERE WERE 3 PAGES IN ALL FIRST PAGE HAD MY CALL RECORDS I NCOMING AND OUTGOING FOR A PERIOD OF 3 DAYS IN 2010 9 TO 11 DECEMBER. SECOND PAGE HAD MY TOWER LOCATION FOR THESE THREE DAYS AND THIRD PAGE HAD MY ALTERNATE NUMBER ADDRESS AND MY NAME AS CONNECTION HOLDER. One more thing that I noticed is that the time stamp on my call record page was of 13th march 2013. I am shocked as to how he got details which were 2 and half years old that too illegally. Can some one shed some light as to how long companies store these call records and location tower records. Who has access to them? And what possible legal action can I take against Airtel and other individuals who leaked and accessed these records. The most shocking thing IS RECORDS OF BOTH CALL LOG AND TOWER LOCATION LEAKING AFTER 2.5 YEARS. Rim gurus please help me as to what to do and how to prevent these kind of assault on one's privacy. It has happened to me today but who knows who among us will be next?

    CDMA spectrum for 5mhz pan India is 9000 crores. MTS has 2.5 mhz so they pay 4500 crores, minus 1650 crores which they paid in 2008 and initially only 25% payable. Rest to be paid after 2 years in 10 yearly installments. I think they can easily buyback all their spectrum. On the other hand if they choose to buy Aircel they pay 3-4 billion at one time plus take 3-4 billion debt that aircel has. In my opinion buying back spectrum in auction is much better choice. Only concern is longtime data requirement will not be fulfilled by just 2.5 mhz spectrum and there is little scope for further availability of 800 mhz spectrum in future.

    Well I dont know how MTS will handle the situation but it need not follow any order or direction from TRAI. It has nothing to be afraid from these small directions if its just there for 1 month.( its like if a person is convicted of murder and is awaiting the biggest punishment will he really care about small offences like drink and drive etc.)

    MTS being backed by Russian govt is not a relevant point for supreme court to decide positively.

    Rajan bhai I have something like a conspiracy theory in my mind

    1st MTS buying Aircel. Now the the thing is Aircel is somehow controlled by the tatas. A little about this was revealed in the Radia tapes, second if you notice how tata docomo and aircel have bid for 3g circles they almost never overlap each other,third anyplace docomo does not has network it latches to aircel. these things make me believe that aircel is/was tata's proxy.

    Mukesh ambani wanted to buy aircel but the deal never went through, in my opinion tata was not comfortable selling it to mukesh. But they have good relation with sistema and also MTS shares tata's network where ever it does not has its own. And aircel needed to be sold so it goes to Sistema.

    Now about MTS continuing its CDMA business there are three scenarios

    1st somehow they get their licences restored.

    2nd they share spectrum from tata

    3rd I heard the news that BSNL wants to lease their CDMA network and with sistema via moscow having power to bully indian government they can get a pretty sweet deal. And for gsm they get Aircel and become a full fledged operator.
