    I am starting this topic for understanding the NV item and generating new dump file when we change or sell our Phones. If you see the NV items received from your seller you can understand that basically we have to change 37 items in Phone’s actual NV adresses in order to use it on Reliance CDMA… These are

    0714 (0x02CA) 0460 (0x01CC) 0461 (0x01CD) 4396 (0x112C)

    0463 (0x01CF) 0464 (0x01D0) 0462 (0x01CE) 0495 (0x01EF)

    0546 (0x0222) 1907 (0x0773) 0465 (0x01D1) 2825 (0x0B09)

    0466 (0x01D2) 0465 (0x01D1) 2825 (0x0B09) 0466 (0x01D2)

    0465 (0x01D1) 2825 (0x0B09) 0466 (0x01D2) 0465 (0x01D1)

    You can see that many addresses are repeated in dump file. Please note that its just the location of addresses where we have to input the value. Input value will be same for all similar address. For example 0465 is repeated 6 times but value for all 0465 address will be same.

    Don’t worry about the long list in above tutorial; what we need to understand is basically 4-5 items only. Most of the addresses in above 37 items have same value. I will group the address together which are having same value :

    ADDRESS VALUE

    0465, 2825, 2953, 910, 906 net

    579,1194 meid@hrpd.rcom.co.in (Replace meid with your Phones MEID)

    466 HIGHLYSECRETWORDnet

    580,1192 MIN

    REST ALL Leave it as it was in old dump file

    Now if you have any latest NV dump file then basically you have to edit only 579,1194,580 & 1192 as value of all other addresses will remain same in new dump file also. Please care that older NV dump file may have different values because previously we were using our MDN as Username and Password i.e. 0465, 2825, 2953, 910, 906 has to be changed to “net” in older Dump file. Similarly you will find HIGHLYSECRETWORD(your MDN) in address 0466.

    All these addresses are entered in HEX Format in Dump so to understand dump file and to edit it you need a ASCii to HEX Calculator. I used following online tool for this :

    Just copy the ASCii value in text box of above calculator and click Convert. Then check the Hexadecimal Box for corresponding Hex Value. Now enter this value in dump file one by one.

    Replace the small alphabet to Capital while entering in Dump file. Also dont edit the first Hex value in address as it defines the location. e.g:

    After editing the Dump file you can upload it to your phone using following topic:

    Please note that above editing is for 1x only as I am not able to understand address 580 & 1192. If you put your MIN in these address you will get 1x but for EVDO I believe something else has to be entered. I have tried this method on 3-4 phones and was able to get 1x. (Tried on HTC EVO3D & Samsung Fascinate.)

    My purpose for writing this tutorial is purely to avoid bothering our gurus/sellers again and again for NV dump. I may not be correct in my understanding and request all Gurus to correct and shade some more light on it. I thanks Hetal & Dr. Muffaddal for their help and many tutorials and offcourse Parin who send me every now and then NV dump for various phones.

    ^^^ Thanks Gurugopal ji for such valuable information... Since it is from your experience so it will help other people also...

    For me even they said they have placed the request but I never succeded... The point is they have to put request in appropriate topic/subtopic in their system otherwise no use.... I think we should try your method if it succeed it will b a great relief...I know the pain of this...

    @Rahul.... I went to store...the guy has put your request for release but no reply till now from top....Now he put your release case again....Lets see bro....

    @Vandan Ji & Akshat.... I was waiting for your RSN...I could not find your contact on rimweb so could not message also... Anyway send me your RSN ASAP...I am leaving India on Saturday will try to do if get time....

    @Akshat...Just try to find a webworld who understands what is RSN Release...I was in pursuit and found after 6 long years....but once you found belive me everything is very easy...PM me your RSN

    @VA....Vandan Ji PM me your RSN I ll try to release...Lost case is very easy to release I dont know why WW people r not releasing it for you.... Also EVDO has same case...as I said once you find the right webworld its very easy to do...

    @All Navi Mumbai & Mumbai(In case you can take the pain to come Navi Mumbai) People.... there is a Reliance store in Panvel(Dont go to Panvel webworld)... Just visit there..Guys are extremely helpful and open to learn...Finally we together activated EVDO and released 3-4 RSN....

    Sometimes ago I requested all Rimweb Member to post address of Reliance WW/Store in their city where they have activated the EVDO/RSN Release...but no one come up dont know why....Its very easy if the guy is familiar with these things... I again request all members to put the address...it will save our sellers from un-neccessary burden...

    Phone received today afternnon... Didnt get much time to explore it due to busy schedule but condition of phone is as described by mohit.... Shipping was very prompt. He received the money yesterday afternoon and shipped the item same time...Communication Part very good..We had a talk once.. He forgot to ship pouch and immediately sent me message about it and said that he will send it in 1 or 2 days...

    Okay me too confirming here that EVDO didn't work for me on GA02...Today I changed the radio to FC12 and EVDO working fine now...

    People who updated to 4.2.1 and having issues with GA02 can flash FC12... I am attaching the Radio file...

    1. Just place it in your SD card...

    2. reboot into recovery.

    3. Install from sd card.

    4. Select Zip from SD card.

    5. done.

    The attached file is for CWM Recovery only...Not tested on TWRP....
