    Need a favor, I unlocked my Sprint HTC One Max using this method and was using it with Airtel Connection in India. But now I am in California and none of US GSM sim cards are working on it. I tried a Metro PCS and a H2O card and phone is not even detecting the sim card.

    Please help me in this, otherwise I have a unusable phone with me for games and music only :(

    SNS Became Like PPO

    SnS is going worst now. Charging high duty rates.

    For 9k phone they charged me 4189 Rs duty n 683 rs shipping.

    I'm planning to buy a Moto X BAD ESN Phone from Ebay.com for flashing it with reliance. Could you please suggest me a good package forwarder for Bad ESN phones.

    Do read about the package forwarders. I have always got my mobiles shipped through shopnship.com and for me they are reliable with quick delivery.

    I am contradicting my own statement I made earlier. Got fed up of SnS, they are charging insanely high shipping duties. I end up paying 3270.00 + 679 for shipping for my 11051.00 HTC One :(

    Now I am planning to try any other shipper - iShopinternational or PPO Box - any suggestions???

    Need to downgrade hboot version

    Yup I have downloaded the HBoot to 1.44 from 1.56.

    Got it unlocked: D

    Following are the steps I followed for benefit of othersJ:

    1. Got S-off with Firewater. I was on latest 1.56 hboot http://firewater-soff.com/instructions/

    2. Downgraded hboot 1.56 to hboot 1.44. You can find the hboot on XDA.

    3. I was on unlocked boot-loader. So I relocked the boot-loader using fastboot, (type this cmd: “fastboot oem lock” without quotes. This will relock the boot-loader. This is needed to flash back to stock.)

    4. Used RUU utility & flashed back to stock. I used this - Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_1.29.651.10_RUU.zip

    5. Now I am on 4.1.2. Unlock boot-loader again, installed TWRP custom recovery and rooted. There are tons of guides for that. You can use THIS

    6. After that I used the steps in OP posted by @Vinod Nayak to get sim unlock J

    I have Sprint HTC One 4.4.2 HBoot 1.56.

    For point 2 I have searched on XDA and I didn't found any clue about how to edit the android-info.txt file for my phone info.

    Also my download for Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_1.29.651.10_RUU.zip is constantly breaking/failing, can you please share your downloaded file.

    Thanks flashed this HBoot 1.44. Now downloading the ruu, keeping my fingers crossed that this time it will work.

    Just gave previously downloaded ruu a try and it worked with the newly installed HBoot 1.44.
    And rest of the process is a piece of cake :)

    im leaving to new york on 25th of july 2014,(Hyderabad) i have some luggage space left, if you have things to send to your family or friends i can carry them for you :) 3kgs is what i can carry ,

    Guys a bit off topic but I recently came through this site which funds approx 75% of your car purchase.

    They will put ads (decent ads only) on four doors of your car for 5 years and for that they will sponsor approx 75% your car's on road price. You have to spend 25000 extra to fit a GPS device in your car.

    And you have to complete 1500 Kms in Delhi-NCR area.

    I also got to know about this but the problem is that i dont know how it would look .. It could look like a taxi

    And 25% is just for advertisement u would have to pay 30-40% and drive 1500 km as per the executive who visited and yeah its only for people who drive 50km + every day !

    I saw a Maruti Alto with ads on it and it doesn't look odd. But then it depends on personal choice as I would not mind even 50% funding from the company in return of the ads posted on my car. And I will cover 1500 easily as I drive approx 100 kms daily.

    But I have dropped the idea :-( to purchase a new car as I am eyeing the big target. Planning to buy a flat :-)

    Hitesh Bhai - Thanks for this app but this will only let u know that the version of App on your device varies with the version available online. But it does not allows to update the app. Please confirm if there is any way to update the app.

    I was facing the same issue, my Moto G was showing 3G but the connection was very slow and in Settings - About - it was showing 1X only.
