Hi, I just came across your post on A820e. could please let me know details regarding the ROM with GApps which you installed. actually i ran into a issue of lenovo A820e OTA update A820e_1_S_2_002_0122_130808 and every thing has gone back to Chinese era so fixing all of them now...

TTSL shut down its operations in Jammu & Kashmir, North-East and Assam circles on January 18, 2013 as it does not have spectrum to operate in these areas. TTSL’s three circles of J&K, North-East and Assam were among the 122 telecom permits that the Supreme Court cancelled in February last year 2012. Around 3.2 lakh subscribers in the three circles, TATA still did not bid for buying spectrum in these areas during auction, price too high for them! bidders were TTSL and Videocon in CDMA spectrum auction but both withdrew left no one on 800 Mhz band. As operations closed all three circles with effect from January 18, 2013, now customers will now have to switch to other operators incase they like to continue retaining their CDMA handsets /mobiles /EVDO data services then choice is none other than BSNL CDMA for migration in BSNL JK, North East circles In case of EVDO data card it will be a new subscription or only option complete shift to GSM using MNP

I travelled into deep dense forest n high snowy mountain peak of northern india and i saw two towers out their one GSM and other CDMA.... One was BSNL and other was Reliance! I was able to talk on BSNL and at the same time i was able to steer on internet via RCDMA 1x,, so at end of the day it all comes down to resource availability in this vast country like india however as a frequent traveller i feel when it comes to data, when on mobility its CDMA which is stable supplier compare to GSM Burst mode HSPA 3G UMTS. Last but not least there shouldn't be a second thought on Reliance,, when it comes to CDMA network in this country!

It took me nearly 3 months!!! but finally I got internet working on this palm 700wx device with reliance. Thanks to all forum guys and tons of information i have gone through to actually formulate the idea where things might have gone wrong!!! Now this a close topic!!! Cheers!!!

Does 1x CDMA data works on phone itself? can you browse internet on phone using 1x CDMA?

I done lot of hard work with my palm treo 700wx before entering forums, i bought this phone on ebay and seller got one reliance number up with both voice n data service. Then i got my old busy RIM number to GOLD OMH RUIM SIM, got it activated extracted ESN MIN and update NVBACKUP.DAT file -- voice call works crystal clear and phone displays 1x mode but whenever phone dials and tries to connect to internet -- it displays Error "Cannot connect for some unknown reason. To check your connection sections, tap Settings. If the problem continues, reset your mobile device according to your manufacturer's documentation and try again." Did soft n hard reset, recreated dial up, reverted back to old number but no luck so far. I also goggled this error and found lot of people get this error at some point of time but couldn't really find an appropriate solution. Voice calls are perfect on both numbers old n new. seller told it has some thing to do with MIP ~ mobile ip and SIP ~ simple Ip in nvbackup dat file it needs to be CB 01 00 00 ...... instead of CB 01 2F 00 00 00 00 00 .. .. or CB 01 02 00 ...... etc i made those changes with no affect! then I downgraded to WM 5.0 STOCK ROM then upgraded to WM 6.0 and back to WM 6.1 still no change dial up behaviour! Voice works perfect in all ROM's but Data dialing errors out same! Also upgraded the radio firmware from Rowen 1.11 to 1.12 but that too didnt help! not sure on this sudden change in dial-up data behavior looking around on XDA, treocentral, howard and few more Any clue or idea will definitely help? Thanks
