1. Dear All,

    Heard about the latest Plan 600 for FWPs? Maybe this is for Diwali.

    You get 2000 mts of fully free all India Onnet calls. After this, it will cost you 0.30 pm for on net calls (even for local onnet calls). You can talk for about one hour daily

    No free talktime available for offnet calls. No concept of local onnet pack also. All other call charges local and std for offnet will remain same at Rs 1.10 per pulse.

    In other words, the old Plan 700 has been discontinued and its place you have a new Plan 600. The earlier Rs 165 talktime and the full free on net calling facility has been removed totally and in its place, you have only 2000 mts of full free all india onnet.

    Hope this new plan will cheer those who were yearning for Plan 700 but were too late to subscribe/migrate to it.

    Enjoy. :lol::confuse::confuse:

    Cheers. :grin::help::quest:B):lol:;)

  2. 1 re. Naaa.. I am already getting that @ hutch.  Hutch to Hutch is 1 re. STD.

    Unlimited STD or less than 1 re. I am waiting for crazy for that scheme.

    Bhavesh,

    Reliance has just relaunched the 770 voucher with a new one 795 with abt 500 Talktime and 1 month validity.

    Intra Circle on net calls will be at 0.10 pm and inter circle Onnet calls will be at 0.30 pm.

    All free lunches are over now.

    Cheers and Enjoy.

  3. i am under DAPO, paying 600 per month via PDC.where 400 towards 400 mins, 100 for finance charges and 100 for some club previledge charges. If i shift to 299 dream plan wht happens to my 200 paying towards finance charges and  club previledge charges. I am getting conflictin reply from cs. some boby help me on this.

    44246

    You will save only 100 towards the finance charges which will not be charged once you shift from DAPO to other plans. Rest all remains same. they will still ask you to pay 100 towards privilege charges till the end of 36 months.

    Cheers and keep enjoying Jai Reliance.

  4. hey guys was just going through reliance website and came across this

    http://www.relianceinfo.com/Infocomm/Rim/r...stpaidtrai.html

    in this wht is all tht POWER 149 plan

    Does anyone know abt it

    44153

    Power 149 is also for TN and Chennai circles.

    In this calls to all local mobiles is at 0.80 and calls to all local landlines is at 1.20. STD is at 2.40 all ndia, all operators. Rest all is same.

  5. <_<:confuse::grin:

    Jai Reliance as usual.different ads for diff. areas. Confusing everyone everywhere. Ring up *333 and get diff responses every time you call them up. The only saving grace for getting any info from J R is the chairman's office email. They will reply you immediately and with some sense unlike the sheer nonsense from *333. :'( :'( :'(

    But in Chennai, the AD says 0.50 to all mobiles and Re1.00 to local landlines and STD at 2.40. SMS at 1 all india, 2 for special sms and 3 for international sms.

    However, in Chennai, it is far better to go in for GSM of either Airtel or Hutch. Because local cell at 0.50 and landlines at 1.20 and STD at 1.99, Local SMS full un-ltd free and National SMS at 1.00 (in Airtel at 0.50 only). You also have much wider and better range of handsets. And also one can receive LMS whereas in Jai Reliance, you cannot receive anything more than 160 characters at all. (in most of LG and Samsung sets, one can get only 140 chrs) Moreover, both Hutch and Airtel run full talktime schemes round the year, so practically there is no rentals at all. And the tariffs are very low with free local unlimited SMSs.

    It is indeed surprising that J R which started with the lowest tariffs is now ending up with the highest tariffs. They were the ones who gave free SMS and now they have started charging for SMS. Their only concentration is on ON NET traffic and not on OFF NET traffic at all. Hope better sense prevails and they remember Dhirubhai's dream of calls costing lower than postcards. :help::help::help:

    Thanks and keep enjoying J R.

  6. :D Hi,

    I just visited chennai.bsnl.co.in website wherein there is a link which states that all calls from BSNL landlines to any TATA or Reliance number will be chargeable at 45 secs pulse. Earlier it was 45 secs to any TATA/ Reliance mobiles and 180 secs to other FWPS/FWTs/FLPs of TATA/ Reliance.

    So now, we will not get calls from BSNL subscribers as this will amount to calling a mobile for them.

    Now, will Reliance convert these FWPs to FLPs with either the same number or will they allow free call forwarding to the new FLP number for about 3 to 6 months to enable the subscriber to inform all his callers. Or is there any other out?

    Thanks :grin:

  7. i want to  share one trick , wich is regarding , LG FWP , say if some one forget its lock code , then it can be open by en tering  6278 , LG centre charge 85 Rs for this ,,,,,,,

    robby

    43283

    Great Robby great.

    I tried it on my FWP LSP 350R and it works. But it does not work on my RD 2030 mobile. Any other code for that?

    Thanx.

  8. bhai log this is a very serious and rigorous problem now.....if the promotional offers dont start attaracting pppl...now then ...ADAe is LOSt...no promotions nothing..no new handsets and the new handsets which are good are toooo much costly...why wd 1 shell out 14000 for 6265 when he can get a 6600 in 10000.......aint it

    43053

    You are right. ADAE is sleeping now - no new handsets, no new schemes - only withdrawals of schemes - no reduction in tariffs to offnet.

    I sent a email to them asking why I should not switch over to GSM as they are more competitive in tariffs and the voice quality has also improved susbtantially now and also they have very pleasing and attractive handsets. They made two senior executives call me up who pleaded me to continue with them and not disconnect from RIM. All tariff revisions will take place by month end, I was promised.

    You are absolutely right abt the 6255 vs 6600 pricing. It just does not make any sense to go in for any new RIM handset as they are either not having required features or they are overpriced as compared to other GSM phones. RIM is currently focusing only on on net calls and all off net calls are expensive. Locally GSM is available at 0.50 pm to all mobiles whereas r2r is free and r2gsm is at 1pm or 0.8pm or 1.20pm depending on the plan you have opted for. Hutch, Chennai also offers night tariffs of 0.10 pm to any mobile across Chennai and TN. It is far cheaper to talk from GSM than from RIM. These tariffs are available in prepaid, mind you where every month, you have new schemes which offer you full talktime.

    It is high time ADAE pulls up their socks and get down to business and come back with a bang in the market. It appears that ADA has totally forgotten his father's dream of a call not costing more than a postcard. Hope he recollects his memory very soon. Most of the DAPO customers will definitely switch over to GSM post the 3 year period which ends in March 2006.

    Thanx

    :D:blink:

  9. Yea dude....New software version for fwp LSP-350R is also.Its available at LG service centre.U can see an extra menu in ur fwp ie.."R-WORLD"  :D .u can download ringtones through this. :grin:

    43038

    Great news Irfu,

    I am having LSP-350R and am unable to get a data cable in Chennai for this phone. The LG center says that it costs Rs 1500 apprx, but stocks are unavailable with them now.

    Can any one suggest alternatives? :lol: Would a data cable of GSM LG mobile work with this 350R? The two ends are perfectly fitting, but I do not have any software. Would bitpim work? :help: If possible, can somebody email me the SWs to my email ID kumarent@gmail.com.

    Just now, I contacted LG service centre, they say no software version is available for 350R and in any case, R World is not there for this phone. It is only for mobiles. Can you please post me on this new sw version and its number details?

    Thanx

  10. Comparison_RD2330_2430_2340.pdf :lol: Here is the Full information About the three handsets....

    43116

    Very good work Hyd Ladka. keep it up.

    But please tell me whether any of these phones will receive LMS or NO? If we send a LMS from a GSM to any RIM, it does not come to the RIM at all. It disappears totally. Ideally it should come in one single LMS or alternately, it should come in different packets of 160 chrs.

    However none of the relaince phones - mobiles or FWPs is able to receive any LMS at all. Any idea how to overcome this? :grin:

    Thanks :D

  11. Dear Pankaj,

    Can you give me the website address where this LG RD 2340 is? www.lgmobiles.com is showing only old handsets and www.lgmobile.com is for gsm handsets.

    Also, can you provide the features and the price.

    Thanks

  12. :clap::clap::grin:

    I also have this new LG LSP 350R model FWP handset. The data cable is unavailable anywhere in Chennai's WW or with any LG Service Center.

    Can any one let me know which USB data cable will be compatible with 350R and where it is available and what is the cost?

    Using this data cable, can one backup the phonebook memory to the computer? What is the SW required and where is it available?

    Thanks

    :clap::P
