13 MP primary cam - f2.2 aperture and Sony Exmor sensor and 5p lens: Good pics in good light conditions - (very slightly over exposed though - need to decrease exposure a little and the problem is mostly solved) Not so good pics in low light conditions I would not compare this with other Samsung/HTC 13 MP cams - they are better Overall: Excellent value for money and what you get is reasonably good in fair light conditions 5 MP front cam: Much better than you would have expected Excellent pic quality Video: Full HD: Good quality in full light conditions Yet to experience more - cant fully to comment here Need to still connect to my TV and check the results before commenting here..

  9. Check this: http://www.ebay.in/itm/Htc-One-X-32-GB-White-/251767658876?pt=IN_Mobile_Phones&hash=item3a9e85997c I think this will be with Snapdragon since it has 1.5 GHz processor (the Indian one was with 1.7 GHz). However, the US one with Snapdragon is faster than the Indian one in all tests and it has 4G LTE.

Wonderful Weather Application..Yahoo Weather! Though most of the weather applications (including Yahoo Weather) takes weather data from The Weather Channel, Yahoo weather is better and uses a great interface.. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yahoo.mobile.client.android.weather

  14. Buying a new car? Discuss here!

I also got to know about this but the problem is that i dont know how it would look .. It could look like a taxi And 25% is just for advertisement u would have to pay 30-40% and drive 1500 km as per the executive who visited and yeah its only for people who drive 50km + every day ! I saw a Maruti Alto with ads on it and it doesn't look odd. But then it depends on personal choice as I would not mind even 50% funding from the company in return of the ads posted on my car. And I will cover 1500 easily as I drive approx 100 kms daily. But I have dropped the idea :-( to purchase a new car as I am eyeing the big target. Planning to buy a flat :-) Check these guys too.. I was trying to understand if android phones can have digital sound out using HDMI and then connect it to a DAC? Any clues if this looks workable? If this can be worked, I can save some money in shot term on sonos then! Thanks. A good phone anyway is gonna cost you 20k+ i still suggest you go for NAS with lan capabilities and Wi-Fi. You can always use your phone to use software to access the NAS via Wi-Fi and play from your phone.Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk I have a HTC One X, which I planed to connect. If anyone can help to understand if the phone can have a digital out (I think, could be possible through Hdmi), I can get a DAC and avoid the Sonos, as an interim solution. I am not sure where you are coming from, but I am sure that even if u attach a NAS, a dedicated DAC would play its role. Further, if u say NAS with wifi abilities and play through phone, why is the NAS really needed? Network attached storage, in my opinion, would be required if one wants to play directly from the NAS. I understand that what u suggest is the following: Phone--> Connect Phone to NAS through WIFI-->Integrated Amplifier-->Speakers My view goes as under: Phone-->Sonos (or hdmi out from phone as interim solution)-->DAC-->Integrated Ampifier-->Speakers and for my terrace garden--> Phone--> Sonos-->Sonos Play speakers Pls share if my understanding on what u r saying is incorrect. Thanks. Would be great if someone can help to understand if the phone can have a digital out (I think, could be possible through Hdmi), which can be connected to a digital to analog

I understand digital to analog.. But I want to shift the work to a dedicated dac instead of sanos.. Sanos is since I stream and can put up a sanos speaker in my terrace later on..
  20. Your Latest Hardware Purchase

For DAC to start with you can use Cambridge DACMAGIC PLUS this can link up with your current driver Optically. can go wireless also, you can also connect a NAS to this. in NAS you can store all your digital music. The best setup till date i have seen in my life cost him around 20+lacs to set it up !! im talking about ONLY AUDIO !! and all my knowledge about audio related hardware is from this guy will give a detailed explanation about the setup with pics in the next post !! My plan is: Sonos-->DAC (yet to choose, some options narrowed)-->Yamaha AS 500-->Speakers (yet to choose, some options narrowed) Now, someone can tell me that DAC is not needed but, that's the setup planned

My Woodstock SA-7000 has gone kaput recently. This looks decent. Kindly share the cost if possible. Thanks... I got my Yamaha AS 500 at INR 28,500 from a delaer in Vadodara (Just the amp). If you plan to travel to Mumbai/Delhi, I think I can help to get you at 27500. What speakers do you plan to drive? and what is the requirement, i mean stereo or video? If you plan to setup a 5.1 system, do check Yamaha 375, I think it has the basics and u will get it at almost the same price!
