  1. I too have an HTC EVO. I was able to get my MEID registered on reliance, now Voice and SMS is working. Only data not working. Where you able to get data working? I have not rooted the device though yet.
  2. A-Key (##2539#) Not Working on HTC EVO 4G

The MIN number on the HTC EVO 4G is a phone number like - 1877 xxx xxx. Is this the Sprint Helpline number? Would this be unique?

See http://www.folklore.org for stories of Steve Jobs as a person and how Apple's original Macintosh was designed.

Steve Jobs will surely be missed in the computing world. "Stay hungry, stay foolish" -- Steve Jobs.
  5. A-Key (##2539#) Not Working on HTC EVO 4G

Voice and SMS all working now. Q: Will all the programming have to be done again if I get OTA update for the android OS? I got a few OTA thru wifi for the HTC EVO 4G. If I get updates again will it wipe out the programming for Reliance and replace with the one for Sprint?
  6. A-Key (##2539#) Not Working on HTC EVO 4G

Thanks Kapil for walking me thru the steps. Thanks Amit.
  7. Hi, I have a HTC EVO 4G, the MEID has been registered on Reliance, and the phone activated thru *228. I can dial out, receive calls, but every call gets disconnected after 2 secs or so. As I understand the issue can be fixed by adding the A-key. I got the A-key, but I don't know how I should key it in to the phone. ##2539# is not working on the phone. I don't see a a-key option in any of the other menus. Is there some other way? The phone is not rooted yet, is this required to add the a-key? I have QPST installed, and can get CDMA workshop if needed. Thanks, Sameer
