I feel RCDMA has suppressed EVDO speeds in Delhi.

I never exprienced more than 1mbps while in Delhi, happening for past 1 year.

As soon I am in NOIDA/GGN, download speeds improve.

I have never raised issue about this problem as I know they are doing it willfuly.

I have instead shifted to MTS EVDO but for past one month MTS EVDO have also started behaving.

I will finaly try TI and then I might migrate to some GSM operator.

I don't think tariff plans will be a deal-breaker as both RCdma and MTS plans are equally good, afaik..

MTS had given me a superb tariff plan.

1ps/2sec - Local calls

1ps/sec - National calls

10sms free everyday.

on net 150 calls free everyday.

for lifetime.

Nothing can match this and I am worried about this plan.

I have never seen any MTS RUIM for which EVDO is disabled.

EVDO or 1x - depends purely on what you pay.

Though there have been some 'smartphone RUIMs' which come packed with their expensive handsets.

These smartphone RUIMs have some special data plans.
