  1. Recently purchased ZTE N919D, good handset. But I saw that when on call , it there is any whatsapp message, or any internet activities . call was getting disconnected " Call lost".

Is this problem, if yes what to do? If any body can help me.

    Thanks

Nothing like this happens with me.

As much I know, voice calls have priority over data packets and data activity should never interfere with voice calls.

    Who is your service provider?

  2. My experience with CDMA networks in Delhi:

    Reliance CDMA

    - Voice/SMS charges = 4/5

    - Data Charges = 5/5

    - Call connectivity = 4/5

    - SMS delivery = 3/5

    - Internet connectivity = 3/5

    - Special offers/packages for old users = 5/5

    - Special offers/packages for new users = 3/5

    - Roaming calls/SMS facility = 5/5

    - Roaming internet connectivity = 5/5

    - Roaming calls package = 5/5

    Tata Indicom

    - Voice/SMS charges = 3/5

    - Data Charges = 4/5

    - Call connectivity = 4/5

    - SMS delivery = 5/5

    - Internet connectivity 5/5

    - Special offers/packages for old users = 4/5

    - Special offers/packages for new users = 4/5

    - Roaming calls/SMS facility = 5/5 (uses RCDMA network)

    - Roaming internet connectivity = 5/5

    - Roaming calls package = 4/5

    MTS

    - Voice/SMS charges = 5/5

    - Data Charges = 3/5

    - Call connectivity = 5/5

    - SMS delivery = 5/5

    - Internet connectivity = 5/5

    - Special offers/packages for old users = 3/5

    - Special offers/packages for new users = 5/5

    - Roaming calls/SMS facility = 3/5

    - Roaming internet connectivity = 3/5

    - Roaming calls package = 3/5

    Notes:

    * Do check limited number of states where you have MTS network.

    * I use both Airtel & Reliance CDMA and never face connectivity issues anywhere.

    * Even in rural areas, Reliance CDMA gives me best connectivity (except in North East, never been to south).

*** Relying on single network never works.

  3. the chinese rom build for the zte n919d is CT_CN_N919DV1.0.0B15.My handset also had got locked earlier. This rom has several additional features like selecting the sim card slots as master etc .2g edge also works on vodafone sim.The condition is you have to put the second sim as the primary sim and the cdma uim as secondary sim. after that you have to disable cdma uim .It also updates prl on its own and there are new settings such as global roaming settings.I havent checked evdo signals since i cut my card for a microsim and right now i dont have a full size evdo enabled normal sim.but i guess it should work without problems since we can also add new apns as per our requirement.but i could make normal voice calls with an old cdma sim which i had with me .my guess is that even the primary cdma slot if enabled for global mode has h+ and also lte i tried with vodafone but it showed a network lock.so probably a china telecom 3g sim card works in the first slot.If this slot is unlocked then this phone wil truly be versatile .root it with framaroot and install amazon app store for downloads.

Please provide download link for this ROM.

  4. I was able to get com port for EC315.

After plugging in the data card, start any updater exe.

During search, it kills the RNDIS service and changes the mode of data card.

As soon you see two 'Huawei Unknown Device' being created in device manager,

kill the updater through task manager or any process manager.

Soon, you will see the 2 COM ports for EC315.

Connect your device to 'Application Interface' port with DFS/CW.

My EC315 has zero SPC by default so, didn't have to bother about SPC.

But I am also stuck with the same problem: after its changed to 'RUIM only' mode, it reverts back to 'NV mode' after every power cycle.

Looking forward to solve this last problem for unlocking EC315 :)

  5. I too have an EC315, but I am not able to connect CW/DFS to it.

As soon plug in EC315, it creates an RNDIS connection with PC.

After I removed the default Huawe driver (which was included in EC315),

it installs mass storage driver and shows the driver partition only.

How to creat a COM port for connecting to CW/DFS?

Do I need a different driver?

I guess your device is hi-link device.. Not a normal one..

Its Huawei EC314, with Tata Photon Max WIFI branding, black in color.

    Can it be?
