  1. Netconnect or Rworld KB Usage ?

Apart from 299 plan (browsing and downloading unlimited), Reliance charges Network usage charges (5 paise per 10 kb or Rs.5 pr 1 MB) They say that it is the KB usage of sites visited. How much KB each site has? They have absolutely no idea. (or are not willing to say) So we are at the mercy of Reliance... whatever they say we have to pay the "Network usage charges". The user has no idea how much his bill is going to be. Any thoughts on this? Do other networks charge the same?
  2. Palm Pixi + Touchscreen Stopped Working

where can one get the digitizer?
  3. Review Of Palm Pixi

Been using it for more than a month. It works fine..Not fragile. But no group sms facility. There is an app but I am not able to connect. Make sure to turn of Data Usage in phone preference or you will get a huge bill.
  4. Coolpad 2838

I am using this phone right now... but not for long...I don't have Superman's vision to read the tiny message text! Unless someone knows how to increase the text size. The guy at the Coolpad counter at Reliance was not able to do it. The virtual keypad is pathetic...its very small...one can't really use ones's fingers..a stylus is a must.. Sound quality is good, battery life is good. Hi, Can you tell me where I can get this pc suite? A link maybe? Thanks
  5. Samsung Mpowertxt M369

Austin, Looks like Cellwala is selling Pixi+... But some people seem to be unhappy about the service?
  6. Samsung Mpowertxt M369

Thanks Niraj... I read it on the phonescoop site.. but its good that forwarding is possible... Group sms is important to me..so please let me know if there is such a facility.. Where to buy pixi? I understand that it has to be unlocked in order to use it on Reliance CDMA network.
  7. Samsung Mpowertxt M369

I have heard good review for 369. However I am planning to buy Palm Pixi Plus (5500/-). Seems better phone than 369. But there seems to be some complaints about this model? Anybody knows about it? Thanks In "Palm Pixi Plus" you can't have group sms...nor you can forward sms Can someone please compare these two phones? One major difference I can see is there are no sms groups possible in Palm and no forwarding of sms Are these corrected in the latest versions/software updates? Please someone compare. Thanks

  9. I suppose many would be opting to switch from R CDMA to R GSM as the handset choice is really poor in CDMA. :'( Since CDMA is a higher technology, I am wondering what is the downside to this switching? I am from Mumbai circle where CDMa connectivity is better than GSM networks. What do experts suggest? Thanks in advance.

  13. Samsung Metro TV at a glance!

Thanks Raghu... Can you tell me how many sms groups can be formed in Metro?
  14. Samsung Mpower TV S239

Hi Raghu... You say the keypad is bad in Metro. May I know in which way? I haven't tried this kepad. I checked the dummy of MPower model. The keypad is hard. The keys are small so I guess its a struggle to type smses..
  15. Samsung Metro TV at a glance!

@raghugs: Thanks for your input. I agree with that. But what put me off was the keypad of 239. Its very difficult to type text.and the keys are very hard. Can you please tell me, apart from price and screen and EVDO support what else you didn't like about Metro? I don't mind spending more for less features as I don't plan use the phone for internet and I am not hung up on big screen. @Karthik R: I agree with you. LG 6300 doesn't fulfill my needs. (poor sms features and capacity) Can anybody who has been using 239 tell me how's the keypad for smsing? @avishekghosh: Hi, Can you tell me why you want to buy another phone? Are you not satisfied with Metro? Please let me know how many sms groups can be formed in Metro.
