I went to reliance web world and got it sorted out. The person who sold it to me converted it to prepaid without telling me. There is a prepaid number on the data card as of now. However, the original question still remains. I still need the tray/slot so that i can use it on other networks.

Also, if anybody could upload the pics of the ruim tray, can you upload them please? I will see if i can get it from a service center nearby

Hi, I recently purchased a Huawei EC325 modem - second hand. I have been able to unlock it to any operator RUIM. But here is the problem - There is no tray to put the RUIM card and insert in the slot. The slot is too big for the RUIM card. The modem had a number programmed into it which was discontinued. Please help me 1. where can i find the RUIM tray for this slot ? 2. If not, how can I programme it ? Regards, Kunal

you are right hitesh ... i got the firmware changed from non-RUIM to RUIM enabled at a local repair shop ... thats when it started ... changing PC Suite version does not help .... I asked that chap ... He is not much help .. He doesn't have another BIN

I got my Nokia 3105 RUIM enabled for Reliance. The Reliance RUIM works. I am even able to use Netconnect thru a CA 42 cable (Chinese). But, when I try using the Nokia PC Suite, it shows the phone as Nokia Wanda and does not support/recognize it. *#0000# also shows Nokia Wanda on the phone. Please help. I need to transfer my phone book to that phone.

I have found the cable at Hongkong Plaza in front of Gaffar Market, Karol Bagh, New Delhi All I had to do was ask for the cable for Nokia 5310 (CA 101) It cost me INR 110 (The Phone does not have a modem. The cable is only for PC Sync)

I recently purchased a LG 3600. It has the future standard Micro USB slot for charging. For data transfer, what is required is a USB to Micro USB. Even a USB to mini-USB cable with a mini to micro usb converter attached should do. NOKIA (CA 101 used with the 5310/5610 express music phones) as well as Motorola (Razr2 V8 & V9 cables) already use such a configuration. Please search for internet if you want to know the difference between using 4 or 5 pins. The original cables for these are for 900 INR which I find absurd since the phone is for a mere 1700 INR. Plus, there might be a problem if either of these cables use 4 pins, in which case, I might be able to charge the phone via USB but not use LG PC Sync. LG service centers in Delhi and NOIDA do not have the cable in their stock, and neither is one listed in their invoicing systems. Has anyone purchased such a non OEM working cable in NCR and if yes, what was the cost and where from did you buy it ? Details would be extremely appreciated. This cable has been accepted as a future standard by Nokia & Motorola as well.
