  1. Buying a new car? Discuss here!

my Brio gives that much on highways with ac on. engines are getting better day by day.
  2. Buying a new car? Discuss here!

Brio AT is also there i found huyndai I10 at value for money with comfort. Sent from my HuaweiU8300 using Tapatalk i10 offers an ancient 3+1 AT box, compared to 4+1 from H!. The brand name and H! A.S.S all are plus plus anytime. And not to forget the dubious FE claims by hyundai. Hyundai are not even offering an extended warranty on it, shows how much they trust this car. If you want a car with futuristik looks + hondas relaibiliy, Brio is the way forward.
  3. very fast service ordered the parker y'day and today morning at 9.30 am i received it too. packaging was excellent, Pen is VFM. price on the packet says 199 but is crossed. maybe luxor made it for promo purpose only.
  4. Revised Buy-Sell Guideline Suggestions

i liked parin's way of taking courier fees via ebay. This is an added security since no one would want to be black listed at ebay/paypal and lose his potential earnings in the long run. new sellers could be made to follow this practice to cover a few % of their earnings.
  5. ordered the pen, seems a nice deal.
  6. Motorola Razr Maxx - Actual Use Review

  7. Motorola Razr Maxx - Actual Use Review

my only concern is that during OTA update for ICS, i lost all my reliance settings and had to get the handset reprogrammed from my buyer. The buyer was nice enough to do it FOC for me but issue is the distance and he takes one full day. so just want to be doubly sure if the OTA update does not mess my settings else i will update as per my convenience.

  9. Samsung Galaxy S III

http://tecgossip.com/2012/12/samsung-galaxy-smartphones-price-cut-india.html Samsung has cut prices of its popular Galaxy range of smartphones in India. The Galaxy S III received the biggest price drop of Rs 3,000 for both 16GB and 32GB variants . On Flipkart, the Galaxy S III 16GB variant is now available for Rs 31,900 while the 32GB variant is available for Rs 34,900 on Saholic. The Galaxy S III, which was launched in June this year for Rs 43,000, has received a price drop of 25 percent in last six months! According to PriceBaba.com, Samsung has also cut the price of the first-generation Galaxy Note by Rs 2,490 and it is now available for Rs 26,000. The Galaxy Ace Duos S6802 also received a price cut of Rs 1,000 and is now available for Rs 10,000 while the Galaxy S Duos got a price cut of Rs 2,000 and sports a price tag of Rs 14,000.
  10. One of the advantages of the Nokia Lumia 920 over the iPhone 5 is the very wide LTE support worldwide. Now Nokia India is claiming the device support 9 LTE bands, 4 more than the CDMA iPhone 5, which supports 5 bands. The handset is also pentaband WCDMA, vs the quadband iPhone 5. While such wide support may initially appear too extensive to be real, reader Notebook Grail was told by Nokia India on twitter that the numbers were indeed correct. It seems if you are a globe trotter who wants speedy data wherever you go, the Indian Nokia Lumia 920 may be the way to go. does it mean 920 will support all cdma operators in india, in short a true global phone ?

  13. Handset Launches - News Snippets

Samsung has announced a new Android smartphone, the Galaxy Grand, that is a mashup between two of its popular devices: the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II. The handset will come with dual-SIM support, too, but its not the best of both worlds. On the outside, the Galaxy Grand looks a lot like the S III. It runs on the latest Android version, 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. The back camera is 8 megapixels and can record full HD video, while the front camera is 2 megapixels. Theres 8GB of built-in storage and a MicroSD expansion slot (for up to 64GB cards), along with the usual trimmings of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and sensors such as an accelerometer, compass, and gyroscopic sensor. The phone will connect to fast HSPA+ networks, but no 4G LTE version has been announced. What holds back the Galaxy Grand is its screen. The display is 5 inches, which places it between the S IIIs 4.8-inch screen and the 5.5-inch display on the Note II. However, at a resolution of 800 by 480 pixels, the display of the Galaxy Grand is inferior to both the S III and Note II, which sport 1280 by 720 pixel screens, with a higher pixel density. Samsung did not say when or for how much the Galaxy Grand will retail. Judging by the mediocre display and upper average specs, the Galaxy Grand will probably be a mid-range device for those who want an Android phone with a big display (also nicknamed phablets), but without the premium price tag. The Galaxy Grand could be an attractive offer for globetrotters though. The first version of the phone will come in a dual-SIM version, which allows you to use two phone numbers from the same phone. You can receive calls on one SIM while taking a call from the other, so you can always have a foreign SIM card for cheap calls along with your normal number. A second version of the Grand will then follow, which will feature only one SIM card slot. source
  14. Battery Stats Plus Pro Detect and notify battery draining apps. Battery Stats Plus detects and notifies battery draining apps. It collects and analyzes battery usage per app basic on your Android devices. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rootuninstaller.bstatspro ExynosAbuse v1.30 Requirements: Android 2.1 or higher Overview: Gain root privileges and install SuperSU with a single button! This is an APK that uses the ExynosAbuse exploit (by alephzain) to gain root privileges and install SuperSU (v0.99) and/or patch the exploit on your Exynos4 based device. Since v1.10, it also allows you to disable the exploit (which may break camera), re-enable the exploit (if you need the camera) and to disable the exploit at boot (before any Android app runs). These options do require root (SuperSU or Superuser) to be installed as well. Note that after you have enabled the patch at boot, you can unroot again in the SuperSU program (SuperSU --> Settings --> Full unroot). While this app will help protect you, these are work-arounds, not actual fixes. Exploit For more details on the exploit itself. The exploit is used by this APK in unmodified form. You should be very afraid of this exploit - any app can use it to gain root without asking and without any permissions on a vulnerable device. Let's hope for some fixes ASAP ! Camera If your camera keeps working depends on your device/firmware combination. Affected are mostly the SGS3, but there is good news too, there is a potential fix here: SGS3 I9300 ONLY. It seems to work for a number of people. It replaces some system libraries with libraries from a different firmware version that does not rely on /dev/exynos-mem. Do not attempt this unless your camera actually breaks due to the exploit, and beware it may cause you to have to reflash your firmware. Also beware that even though this change will not prevent OTAs from downloading, it can possibly prevent OTAs from flashing succesfully. Device status Using this patch may turn your device status into modified. There's not really a proper solution to that at the moment, but you can restore status by removing the patch (and SuperSU) again and rebooting your phone. This will however leave you unprotected again. Doing all sorts of weird stuff (like for example wiping data) to get rid of this modified status while you're still have the patch applied at boot or keep SuperSU around, is an exercise in futility. If you want to go ahead and do that, that is fine, but do not litter my thread with your comments. Because eventually, the modified status is likely to return Compatibility: Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE GT-I9305 Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE GT-N7105 AT&T Galaxy Note 2 SGH-I317 Verizon Galaxy Note 2 SCH-I605 both locked and unlocked bootloaders work Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus GT-P6210 Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000, GT-N8010, GT-N8013, GT-N8020 Google Nexus 10 not compatible, Exynos5 You can download and install the app from XDA-Developers here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2050297
