Guess reliance network is weak in your area. Is signal strong on other handset except moto x for cdma?

Change sim card. Try using recruc series micro or nanoHi, i got a Verizon Moto X , GSM is working fine out of the box, but if i use a Reliance CDMA it says no sim inserted , can i expect help and suggestions.

There was a plan going on for reliance gsm and cdma wherein for 299 plus taxes per month, one gets 1500 local/std calls AND 1gb data per month. It was certainly there April. No idea of its present status

If 1x itself is not working, it's highly Doubtful if successful evdo activation will be of any help. If anything, it will only increase your pains once u try to change sim after evdo is activated. This is because many times, system will tell to disable HSD service first. Story is not over. Reliance people will completely disable your HSD PLAN meaning plan itself will become deactivated. Then even though they will activate evdo services, they will forget to again activate DATA PLAN. so, u will be using data @ INR 10/MB. That my friend is Reliance CDMA for you :-p

Motorola Droid ultra, mini, maxx do not run data with all OMH sims of reliance. U need either a nano or wholly precut micro RECRUC06 or one particular type of mini RECRUC06.... One more important fact is the handset on which u do *228. On some handsets, the OTA does not happen properly which results in no data.

Once u change to sim, rsn gets changed. And once evdo gets activated on sim, evdo should shop working on old handset. Is evdo already active on new sim?

Do one thing. Assuming u know programming as u have moto g, change the MIN to something like 9999999999 on moto g.

No. U need to make it ruim preferred mode by dfs. Vinod ji has a very nice guide for the same on this forum. Search.

Its simple. Check it by switching on data on moto g. If evdo is activated on new Sim card And Evdo is working on Sim, data would ideally not be working on your ex rsn, i.e., moto g

A new cdma prepaid connection would hardly cost 50-100. If nothing works out and u have any sort of old or new CDMA handset, it is worth a try

Also ,if u need to use that part anyhow,do remeber that g2 supports mouse via otg cable. Just connect cable and insert mouse with USB port,u will get mouse pointer on screen.

If just pressing the volume key does not help,try pressing power Button and both volume keys together. Means all three pressed. And then release the power key while still holding on to volume buttons. As soon as u release the power button u may find yourself in recovery
