Hello, Today i got an SMS about NetBooster software from Reliance. Tested my bandwidth speed in www.speakeasy.net/speedtest after/before using netbooster. Before my speed was., 128 DL kbps 128 UL kbps Now 135 DL kbps 458 UL kbps It changes like.. 145 DL kbps 506 UL kbps DL - Download UL - Upload You can set bandwidth boosting level too. worth to try. control panel -> Network connections-{connection} -> right click-> properties->networking->select {TCP/IP}->click settings - >put tick in all of three->Reconnect.

I am also using HUAWEI EC325... Please dont use their Dialer... Just manually create a new connection Control panel->network connections -> new connection... and dial through that....

It worked GREAT in Ubundu... I couldnt find Modem = /dev/ttyUSB0 ... Help in finding an exact modem in Centos(RedHat Distors)

I bought HUAWEI EC325 mobile usb modem for 4500Rs. I am already using Nokia 2112 with Freedom @ night plan. Installation of Huawei card,driver & modem was really easy. But i feel this connection is slower than Nokia 2112. Download rate is 3KB/Sec average. It never increases more than 4.0KB/Sec .. It means my net speed is 35Kbps max. But Reliance guys and Huwaei card pack says it will be 156.6kbps ... i need atleast my nokia's speed. Nokia's download rate was 15KB/Sec .. Why usb datacard seems slower? Is there any way to get a honest speed? Notes: I have full signal strength always. I am connecting net at nights mostly. My current(now(); ) plan is SWIFT100. I asked *333 migrate to Freedom plus (1.5 GB/Month - 900Rs plan) .. i will get it within 24 hours. Intel P4 - 512MB - 80Gig System I hope i will get some help from you friends

In that time it shows Dialing #777... and data transfer indication arrows in my mobile... But dont know what is the problem

hello Mr.Paraj i have tried with your scripts. there is one error message that is... :Command not found :Command not found5753579 # this is a part of my mobile number :Command not found ':not a valid identifier PASSWORD /usr/sbin/pppd : unrecognized option '/dev/ttyUSB0' # actually there is no devices like ttyUSB0 or ttyACM0 in /dev/ Please help me. for every changes i must shutdown windows and then boot Linux. i have done all the changes as per your advice. Hello all, I am using Nokia 2112 CDMA with DKU-5 cable. i want to establish a net connection under RHEL4 . i have tried lot of times. and all my doubts are in modem setup. in windows we are using Nokia CDMA 2x RTT modem. in linux how can i set up a modem? i am new in Linux. please help me.
