  4. Mod the sim means set PrefMobileIP in DFS => Programming => Mobile IP Section Mod the sim means set PrefMobileIP in DFS => Programming => Mobile IP Section Thank you Kapil. Verizon Moto E on 5.0.2 worked out of the box. But 5.1.x never worked (as reported in the forum) till Kapil claimed otherwise. Kapil, do you know what change between 5.0.2 and 5.1.x that required additional SIM modifications? I hope folks who got their devices working on 5.1 or 5.0.2 share their info. It will help the community at large. Thank you.
  5. Folks, I haven't gotten Android 5.1 Moto E to work on Reliance with EVDO data. Kapil Matey is the only one I know who claims he has Moto E XT1528 (Verizon) working with EVDO data with Android 5.1 on Reliance. Please reach out to him if you need help. Thanks.

  11. This video claims Verizon Moto E XT1528 Android 5.1 works overseas (Orange / Claro in the Carribean). Has anyone followed all the steps outlined in the video and got it to work here in India?
  12. works fineSent from my Motorola Droid Turbo using Tapatalk Which carrier are you using Sprint Moto E for? Reliance, Airtel? Sprint/Verizon Moto E doesn't support LTE band class 40 (TDD LTE), hence it can only use 3G data (EVDO on Reliance/Tata/BSNL) or (WCDMA(UMTS,HSDPA/UPA) on Airtel/Vodafone/) in India.
  13. GSM in 2G work fine in Moto E Verizon . I also got it in BB $10 sale . No issues CDMA RUIM no data What do you mean by "No issues"? 3G/4G data doesn't work with Verizon Moto E with Android 5.1. Forget the Verizon Moto E. Just get Sprint Moto E XT1526. It is internationally unlocked and can be used as GSM (via network app) or CDMA device.

  15. What is the Android version on these devices? 5.1 or 5.0.2? 5.1 has problems with 3G/4G data. With 5.0.2, 3G data used to work with Reliance (EVDO data). Do voice/text work with your GSM SIM card?
