Is Zte Mg880 Usb Device Evdo Enabled

hi there ..can any body tell whether mg880 usb modem by zte is EVDO enabled coz the usb modem provided by BSNL is the same as mg880..and BSNL is providing EVDO broadband through such usb modem

BSNL is providing MG478 for EVDO which looks like MG880. MG478 is EVDO and MG880 is not.

that bad news man..coz we are spending too much money on reliance...bsnl is giving a evdo modem for rs 3500 and reliance is not even bothered about evdo. Bsnl gives unlimited download for 550 per month

Yes bsnl rocks in rates and plans but remember as they have mentioned these rates are only till the 6 month of jan 08 till their trials are on

I want to buy a MG478 (EVDO Compatible) and use it with reliance RUIM coz I am in Delhi (No BSNL). I know there is no EVDO from Reliance as yet but I will be future-proof that way. :SI:

Now how is that pssoible ? :confuse:

I have to buy a Data Card in a day or two as my EC325 is dead.

i dont know whether mg478 is RUIM enabled, so the you can convert it into RUIM..at present no body is selling evdo usb modem other than bsnl..rather you should go for evdo ready handset like moto..may be in near future realiance may come up with evdo ready modems

BSNL Evdo modem mg478 is ruim enabled. BSNL is not using ruim instead have programmed stuffs into set. instructions n pst is available at bsnlevdo.com
