If its urgent then try another Service Provider, like Airtel, Vodafone Our RCom or anyone.

Otherwise plz wait for 12-24 hours. Sorry, actually I don't know the exact duration for the blocking period.

Just guessing that it is 12-24.

Looks like this is the second time BSNL's 59.x.x.x. IPs were blocked by RapidShare recently. Here is a reply from RapidShare received by someone...

Hello,

unfortunately our security system is blocking the IP address you are

using to access our service.

Our system blocks IP addresses automatically when it detects a

massive hack attempt of our servers.

It seems that the person who is causing the block is operating with

the same ISP or through the same Proxy Server as you are.

We suggest to contact your ISP in this matter, as we are not able to

determine which one of their customers is causing this problem.

We are working with high pressure on a solution to this problem.

Unfortunately we can not just lift the IP ban since this would

endanger the entire system and our customers accounts.

Best regards,

Ya... I wouldnt even try to drill this into BSNL's thick skull... they will either not listen, or having listened fail to comprehend, of having comprehended will feign to have not comprehended...

Yes, this problem has occured 2-3 times. but theres a solution to it. If you want to download any urgent file then use proxy server. i.e. find some free proxies using google and use them in your browser. This trick works. I have tried it. Works fine but due to proxy server the download speed is slow
