Kar Lo Defaulters Mutthi Mein

Recommended Posts

To suit the palate of the readers, media is always looking for interesting stories. The news that Infocomm has of late been cracking the whip on willful defaulters has found favor with various newspapers and TV channels.

The latest binge of stories on Infocomm's concerted drive against chronic and willful defaulters have tackled the issue in a very interesting manner. It appears that journalists across the country have done one better on another to give new angles to the Kahaani Defaulters Ki.

“Reliance deploys satellite technology to track defaulters,” said Nav Bharat, while Indore Samachar mentioned, “Ex cops to catch defaulters.” Hindustan Times at Indore also found the use of GIS interesting.

Pioneer stuck to the straightjacket approach, “Reliance adopts hard line for recovery.”

Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Indore, Bangalore, Mangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Thane, Navi Mumbai are only some of the cities where journalists writing for various language publications have taken keen interest in dramatizing the treatment of the defaulter related stories.

While Times of India's New Bombay edition recently screamed “Defaulters Mutthi Mein,” Dinamani of Erode spoke of special squads moving around to trace defaulters.

Dainik Vishwamitra too has sounded an alarm bell for the defaulters, “Warning to Defaulters (thou shall not be spared!).”

As the sayings in the media circles go, “If It's not big, it's not Reliance.” The coverage of the nationwide drive was big and the impact was equally huge. Beelines of customers have been found at all WebWorlds armed with applications for migration to the pre-paid regime.

Thanks to Reliance's efforts to track down defaulters, the police too could trap many of their wanted men!

After all it is only fair that people pay for the services they utilize.

If satellites can be so effective why BIN LADEN IS NOT YET CAUGHT? Just smarter way to freighten people to recover money.

They only want that "Defaulters feel fear of RIM and don't take lightly".

I'm hoping that was a rhetorical question!

Just in case it wasn't, Bin Laden has not been caught (if you follow the article's reasoning) since he does not use a RIM!

Even if he did, he would not get caught unless he stopped paying!!

:)
