Chrome - Browser By Google.

It does feel good. Since there are very less bars & icons, the work space area is more.

Trying it out, doesnt seem to support java chat site plugins as yet. Looks good, and seems extremely user friendly.. will have to wait and see how it evolves once it goes full fledged as its still in beta right now

I have been using it for 15 minutes and I am impressed.

Its at least 20-30% faster than the IE7 which I am using.

It has opened all my security enabled java pages.

Its plains n simple interface(so typical of google)

its bascially for google applications like Docs, gmail etc & other stuff which heavily rely on javascipts.

Just go to this page n see test 5 scripts for benchmarking.

http://code.google.com/apis/v8/run.html

CHROME is light years ahead of IE.... 8- 10 times faster then firefox. sorry i dont use opera.

mind it. this is just javascript benchmarks. This results do not reflect actual browsing speed results.

Except for being faster, I don't see much going for it. FF rules. Am using it for only some time now and already missing the mighty FF plug ins. Still lot of work to catch up with FF. Don't think it is a challenge to anyone including IE. I suppose the launch was meant to coincide with the beta launch of IE8 with some similar features on offer such as much hyped "Porn mode".

I feel its more or less copy of Opera.

Tab Previews of Opera are missing in Chrome.

I feel Opera continues to be the fastest browser on the Solar System.

One suggestion- They could have added a title bar on top. It is very difficult to know the title of the tab you are using! :(

Else its a cool simple browser ;)

Chrome beta cannot be compared to IE8 beta, remember this is beta for the very first version, while IE is beta for the eight version - give Chrome a few months and am sure its going to leave all browsers behind. Its open source - so expect all extensions of FF to be available for Chrome sooner than later.

A title bar on top takes away desktop real estate - something that goes against Google design philosophy.

well, as it is a product from the 'Google' stable...we are bound to feel 'gooood'.

it all depends on how does it fare under normal conditions and downloads..

for the time being, i am doing the work from chrome.

got to check as to how much space does it occupy compared to safari and firefox.

simple interface is nice except popup download bar

Here Main is the Users name and all my Home Laptop and a Desktop is Multi Users system with Standalone Data Server from QNAP Attached over WiFi

So i have to Install it on every users. Cause all Partitions are NTFS could not open Other Users Diretories

So i have Extracted the Files and Attching it for Offline User installations
