I think the 6 digit code is MSL (master security lock) code and will there fore vary from handset to handset. I don't think we can discuss here how to obtain that ...

Guys!

I am able to activate NAM#2 in my FWP.

I mean now my FWP is set to NAM#2.

I mean like free calls, better network, etc.

I don't think it wud be of any benefit at all ... unless U can register Ur same phone with two service providers. In that case U could switch between the two providers -- but still U can be on only one network at any point of time. I don't think we can discuss the technicalities of such a thing as it may not be legal either.

I want to know only that will NAM#2 give better network than NAM#1, cauz normally all FWP r set to NAM#1, and my FWP is set to NAM#2, so there should be better network than NAM#1.

May be it's like Slect Line>> Line1/Line2 as available in RIM handsets. But if they deactivate the line from their towers then phone can be dead. I'm afraid the second line may be for the RIM and not for RIP. So you may be charged as per RIM!

Slot Cycles

A typical CDMA phone wakes up periodically and turns on its receiver briefly to see if it has been paged, which means to find out if there is an incoming call. This happens on what is known as a slot cycle, and the period of the slot cycle is controlled by the cell and/or network. Slot cycle indices are numbers from 0 to 7, and for any index the period is 1.28 seconds multiplied by 2^index. Increasing the slot cycle will delay the receipt of incomming calls/sms but will also reduce battery consumption as the receiver will use less power. Common values for slot cycles are 1 or 2.

U mean if i set it to 0, then it'll receive SMS and calls very quickly.

I don't think the delay really maters(very small) but it can result in a significant increase the battery drain.

May be NAM#2 for VIP persons or Web-world.

I mean we can use it for free.

Cauz i think there is no logic for using NAM#2 for RIM.

Can anybody throw some light on it?

All my dear LGLSP340E users.

The SPC code for this FWP handset is 000000.

Other handset owners can also try this code, may this code work for them also.

@Vishal

You had done a good job to recognize this secret menu.

Enjoy!

Regards.
