Reliance Has Blocked Third Party Site Browsing When Using Mobileworld Settings?

Recommended Posts

As of this afternoon, I have noticed that I am unable to browse any websites on the phone using Rel MobileWorld connection. Only RWorld page is accessible.

There seems to be no such issue with web browsing when Rel NetConnect is used though.

Seems like Reliance is upto to their tricks once more and have blocked out browsing of third party sites when we use MobileWorld settings.

I request all RIMWeb members who browse third party websites from the phones using MobileWorld settings to please check out my findings and report on this thread.

Thanks.

PS: @ Mods - If you feel that this thread should be moved to a more relvant section please do so.

YES - DISASTER !!!!!

They are upto their old tricks again, and with deeper motives this time. They are trying to circumnavigate the TRAI issue by not increasing rates but have instead blocked ALL OUTSIDE SITES.

But this could be a precursor signal of impending coming of EVDO...

Please ... ALL..... MOBILIZE ONCE AGAIN....

Opera mini uses its own proxies and may be some how its going past reliance gateway.

Full browsing means ie or other browser.

It could be temporary problem.

This is may be Temporary Problem. May be the wapgw WAP Gateway which we use as Proxy may have Hanged or may lost the Internet Bandwidth.

Reliance WAP and Reliance NetConnect bypasses Proxy Server becuase that it works smooth.
