Reliance Launches Customer Experience Programme For Gsm

Recommended Posts

@Afsal That is indeed a pleasant news to see, but seems like my unconfirmed insider info was correct. Lucky are those who bought the sim at 10/- and 50/- :( Initially i was interested in procuring the sim, but @100/- now i am reconsidering my decision.

Ok, the MRP is stated as 49/-. What is the other 51/- for? Did u query about that?

Today Rs. 44.5 is credited to my Main balance. :Contento:

Reliance rgsm CEP sim is a waste.

1. I can not limit my calls in 5 minutes.

2. SMS are not working to other networks in kerala. If you send an SMS you will loose money and it will never reach destination. I asked to my friend he has same problem.

Only good thing is the voice clarity.

:Equivocado:

Update :-

Network Improved at my Home and Shop...

Getting -43 dBm at home, where I was getting -70 to -60 dBm... (I think -43dBm is the highest network I am getting.)

Only Because BTS is just above my House..

Getting -60dBm at Shop, Where I was getting -102 dBm Just 2 days back...

Rcom GSM Network Improving alot :)

But there is one problem at my House, There I am unable to connect to GPRS, I think that BTS is not GPRS enabled yet.

Found an application called "NSysInfo for S60 V3. It shows Signal Strength as -86dBm at my place.

Can you please explain what this means? I understand its the power of transmission but why a negative sign?

Some of my observations on R-GSM services.

Voice calls are excellent and calls to BSNL, AirTel, Vodafone, etc are working great. (Personally did not tested to Tata Indicom number; others please update on this)

There seems to be some problems with Messages...

SMS send to BSNL is not delivered though amount has been deducted. Strange thing is that messages from a BSNL number is reaching R-GSM. :Equivocado:

SMS to Vodafone is not going through.

Messages to R-CDMA is working as expected!

Users of CEP please update and post your observations on the service quality.

Same observations were noted in my CEP sim too. Messages work to Idea only. Incoming messages are working fine from every service provider.

Got GPRS settings after shooting off an email + complaint to CC. The mobile model number is listed in their database, but still i was not getting the desired settings. They had to manually send it to me.

Voice clarity is good. Not that exceptional. It is expected to degrade in the coming months as more subscribers are added.

I had complained to *333 as well and they the SMS was sent to me, but I didn't receive it. Does your handset have EDGE? How is the speed? To which email address did you send the email?
