Airtel Introduces Lifetime Prepaid For Rs. 99

Bharti Airtel, has introduced its Lifetime Prepaid at a lower price point of Rs. 99 only.

Under the new Lifetime Prepaid, the customer can stay mobile by paying just Rs. 99 and recharging with a minimum of Rs. 200 every 180 days. With effect from January 12, 2009, Lifetime Prepaid 99 is available to all existing as well as new Airtel mobile users.

"As an industry leader, Airtel has always been at the forefront of driving affordability and expanding the market. This initiative marks our strategic intent to drive affordability further." said, Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Chief Marketing Officer, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel Limited. Further added, "The lower pricepoint of Rs 99 will enable a large number of uninitiated rural consumers to go mobile & enhance their lives."

this step may be due to RGSM's lifetime for Rs.96..

the real war has been started...

why are you worring my dear friends.........those woh are using reliance gsm today have minimum validity of 6 months...........till then picture will be clear and till then enjoy....................and utillize daily 10 rupees..

agreed.. i will put life time only after 3 months ie (daily bonus, night free calling period,) coz scared that this offer may change when we put lifetime...

NOte: for me its Rs5 per day..

Does RCOM want to kill CDMA from now itself by giving slow poison? AFAIK, Voda, Aircel and Airtel are selling LT at Rs 49 to Rs 101, yet RCOM is still merrily selling? LT at Rs 199.. No other offers also for the New Year!!!

Guys u wont believ..yesterday near my house there was a stall of idea on da side of da road wich was selling lifetime sim for 15rs only :o:blink:

It seems "Validity" is going to be phased off from Indian Telecom market! There will no more be the question of expiry of validity only expiry of value. :)
