How to prevent opening RCOM web page automatically when connecting? Any solution? Rate Topic: -----

I have started using Huwai EC1260. I am surprised that after connecting, it opens reliance communication web page. I do not want to open that page as it adds to my data transfer. What is the solution to stop automatically opening the RCOM web page?

hi umesh,
I too brought Huwai EC1260 on 2nd Nov.I have solution for us to prevent http://www.reliancenetconnect.co.in after getting connected.
1.Explore to "C:\Program Files\Reliance Netconnect - Broadband+\plugins\XFramePlugin" or the nstallation folder if it differs from default folder.
2.Open file "Config.xml" with notepad or any text editor.
3.Go to line no.20 and simply delete URL "http://www.reliancenetconnect.co.in" and save the file.
Thats all problem solved.
I assume before doing this hack close Reliance Netconnect application.

i am using lg 1x data card and facing same problem
feel free to pm for anything related to reliance
