RCOM has calculated the savings ob the highest tariff prevalent in the country to arrive at the total benifit number of Rs. 4000.

Local calls- Rs. 999*1= Rs. 999

STD calls- Rs. 999*1.5= Rs. 1498.5

National SMS- Rs. 999*1.5= Rs. 1498.5

Hence the total of Rs. 4000.

Also, the validity of 30days is too less a period for such a huge offer. Seems like this time the festive season is applicable only to the GSM subscribers. :)

Only if the unutilised usage is allowed to be carried forward, this scheme will not sell although it appears attractive at Re 0.50 per minute local or national calling. The added bonus is 999 national SMS which effectively is totally free.

If you have 1000 bucks of monthly usage, I am sure you are better off on a post paid. 30 days is too less. Otherwise the offer is pretty good.

Yes 30 days is too less. And I do not know which person would be such a fool to spend Rs 1000 every month by remaining on prepaid. He would be much better off by going post.

On a better note, RGSM should allow carry forward of unutilised minutes for this offer to take off dramatically. Maybe they should insist on a recharge before the validity ends for the unutilised minutes to get carry forwarded (like with the NCC etc).

Hi,

Some of the points Reliance authorities has to understand if they want to survive in the market as well as if they want to save their bread and butter particularly in Mobile business they have to think that in this competative market "People are not sleeping".

People understand so well the money calculation after TATA-DOCOMO has come up with the offer 1p/1s pulse and BSNL also.

So RGSM has to understand the fact in a relevant way rather than trying to make public fool.

At first they need to upgrade their network. Still now I face the problem at peak hours while calling in any number ---"All routes are busy please dial after some time". Too much of noise during call between R-GSM and other GSM. These are the existing burning problem.

How do they expect people will recharge with Rs.999 per month basis with these network quality.

Wake up buddy for your survival in mobile business.

Regards,

Abhrodeep

With the current offers by other operators, such foolish offers by reliance makes me laugh. :rofl_200:

Why not buy a new Tata connection and use the pay per call. That will be much much cheaper.

Reliance will not wake up now, as they have already used all their money to rope in Hrithik.

RCOM is making merry as of now. Let them have all the fun in the world. After MNP is implemented, I am sure the subscribers would have the last laugh and RCOM would be left gaping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
