But in GSM there is very restricted FREE on-net calls and in CDMA we have unlimited on-net calls... So even after arrival of MNP, I think we should carry 2 mobiles anyway like now... :Equivocado:

^^ just to add another thing... the voice clarity/signal reception of any CDMA connection is much much much better than GSM.... everyone using both the technologies, can throw some light on this...

Very true..... thats why iam with reliance CDMA for the past 5 year. never thought of migrating to GSM.. dont know if there will be any voice clarity difference once 3G comes to GSM

^^ I guess 3G in GSM will only increase the data speeds... I have no idea if the voice clarity would also be increased..

I am using Reliance CDMA for 6 years.Recently started using Tata Docomo, RGSM and Idea.

 No doubt RCDMA is far superior in voice clarity.

:'( Idea I struggle a lot and very difficult to understand what other person is speaking even with full signal.Very low voice clarity.

 With RGSM and Tata docomo voice clarity is better than Idea but little inferior to CDMA

Aap sabhi ko me ye bata dena chahta hu ki India me CDMA mobile 800MHz per chalta hai & GSM phone 1800MHz per chalte hai. Health ko sabse jyada nuksaan GSM phone se hi hota hai. Cancer & Heart attack ki sabse jyada sambhavna bhi GSM phone se hi hoti hai. Aap ghanto bhi CDMA mobile se baat karenge tab bhi sir nahi dukhega jabki GSM phone se thodi der hi baat karenge to sir problem hone lagegi. Yadi mujh par yakeen na ho to khud hi practical kar ke dekh lo. Chote bachho ko to GSM phone ka bilkul bhi use nahi karne dena chahiye.

Dude,

GSM work on 900 & 1800 Mhz both

And

For CDMA frequencies are:(so called 800-850Mhz)

824 - 849 MHz for the uplink (handset to base station)

869 - 889 (or 894) MHz for the downlink (base station to handset)

Can you please explain how frequencies are related to radiation or head ache

I haven't said anything about head ache, i was just clarifying the frequencies used.

But cellphones can be related to headache, not only headache but more health issues are there.

Dear Brother aapne khud hi dekha hoga ki jab GSM phone ki ring aati hai ya baat chal rahi hoti hai, tab computer/tv ka screen hilne lagta hai, landline phone ki awaj me problem hoti hai, mobile LED wale stikar ke light jalne lagte hai & Jab aap CDMA phone se baat karte hai ya ring aati hai to aisa nahi hota hai.

Aap sabhi Practical karke dekh sakte hai.
