yesterday i gave a cal to the customer care cos i saw a msg on my TV screen stating my pack had expired and i found out a strange thing.
that if u recharge for a particular pack then u have to pay a daily rental too. suppose i subscribe for a pack of 115 then on top of the 115 that i have paid i need to pay a daily rental too.is it true?? :Equivocado: :Equivocado: :Equivocado:

is so then its better to throw big tv stb out of my house and keep quiet

i called up cc they said nothing like that exists and i pay only for the pack i've subscribed for..but instead of the one time deduction, there will be a daily deduction from the main balance it seems.

I feel.. apart from its telecom arm, ADAG is a big flop in all other departments..
Just look at Reliance Insurance/ money / credit card / big TV / Wimax etc. etc. all unprofessional & pathetic !
I think they all will take 7-8 years to build some teeny weeny goodwill.. just like telecom presently Posted Image

^^^^ Correct.. Similarly not many ppl doubt the reception/coverage of Reliance CDMA.
But what about Customer Service ?
In contrast look at Bharti Group.. well they can only be convicted on the grounds of higher Tariffs cause they wanted to make profits, like any sane company.

Jayanth

Reliance telecom is different because it was planned and executed by Mukesh and then handed over to Anil. I doubt Reliance Telecom would be similar if the younger Ambani was at helm of affairs in the initial years.

^^^ Yes. Another point to ponder over.
During those days, Anil Ambani would be seen more in Parties & Bombay times' Page 3.
Now he sticks only to Bachchan & Amar Singh for personal/business interests.

Not very sure if you are making a correct decision.. i am a BIG TV user from past 6-7 months & apart from 1-2 issues (i'll address them later).

I think the picture quality is pretty good as compared to others.
Just once in the entire period the reception went out due to weather issues that too for 10-12 mins, which i have seen is a common problem with all DTH operators (the period included complete monsoon season).
Recently i had issue with online recharge not credited to account, solved within 6 hours of complaint.
I think Reliance has the best package at best prices (i watch Hindi & English channels only so not sure about other language channels). I get almost all channels barring 1-2 english movie channels @ appx Rs240 per month (ofcourse excluding sports, but still have ESPN & Star sports).

Yes i agree about STB issues & software being a little slow.
So if you can develop a little patience.. i think Big offers value for money!

Final decision is yours.. :)
