Specs are

64 K UFB display (128 pixels X 128 pixels)

300 X 4 phone book.

60 call log

PC sync

99 gms

speaker phone

JAVA

22 ring tones

160 schedules

30 each SMS in inbox, out box, archine, drafts, templates

In call memo

I think who are not fond of camara and do not like flap phones should wait.

Wow, great to hear that. Thanks for the info.

I tried to search on web for LG 5130 and there's no information available anywhere. Any idea it's global handset or made for Indian market ?

Regards

Umesh

I agree with vingan in that although LG people do pay attention on "Look Good" They don't take that much care to see that the features are user friendly .. LG developers show surprising ignorance by not providing features available on (m)any other cheapest phones.

well the hardware itslef is very wrong, and most buggy software.i used to own sch n191 and i shifted to color bcos n191 supported only 140 characters sms.other than that n191 is a gem of a phone.

RD7130 so far

1) I have replaced the pcb 3 times

2)I replaced the whole phone 3 times.(i caught the LG marketing head to get this done)

3)I replaced battery (both batteries ) 3 times so far.

since my rconnect usage and rworld usage is heavy, the phone battery stoops down and i wonder what quality standards they maintian.

There was an option to upgrade to colour phones with the onset of the camera phones for an amount, I believe, of about Rs.4000.

They might introduce something like that again...

Looks great, but as Chirag said, hopefully it'll have good features.

It's really cheap for a colour phone with Polyphonic ringtones...atleast from Reliance!

hey ppl ... i would suggest all of u who are interested in going in for this model, wait for some time. all of u are familiar with RIM's policy (screw the good guys, encourage the defaulters -_- ). the price of this handset as i see it will definately come down in another two months ... that's what also happened with the other b/w models ...

No way GTRAN owners wiil be regreting after seeing the phone ----------- GTRAN is a way better phone and i am fully satisfied with it.

LG 5130 is a good phone for its price------------- but like lg 2030 it has only 3 downloadable tones and no PC sync ( except bitpim)

i think you better wait and watch ... in a news clipping which i've posted, it says reliance is going to introduce a new phone in september and one every month after that for a whole year  so prices are bound to crash once the new ones come in ... don't waste your money. you should have learnt with reliance "never pounce ... wait and watch" :(
