^ Yes, F105 is very fast, I tried it for a day but got back to uberkernel since I was afraid something will go wrong and i'll have to spend time in doctoring the Pre.

BTW, the latest SR71 Blackbird kernel overclocks the PRE to 1.2 GHZ - faster than any other phone - even HTC Incredible or EVO !

I have been itching to test out the new sr71 blackbird kernel, but not sure if i want to test that quite yet. The F105 seems to be very snappy, however, I would love for the option to use it under userspace like you can with speeds in the uberkernel, the screenstate is good but affects the benchmark test when the screen goes off.

On a side note, Has anyone cracked MotionApps Classic 2.0 yet? I am interested in this program.

Nevermind I found it listed in this forum. Here it is just in case someone else missed it

MotionApps Classic v2.1.2

Is this the full version of the app?

And about f105, it puts the pre in a league of its own :Riendo:

Yes it does appear to be the full version app.. So far I have not seen any notification that suggest it to have a trial period. I suppose once it goes past 7 days I will know for sure huh? :)

F105 is nice indeed.... I still hope for the added options like in the uberkernel. :)

Hi guys

Quick update on f105 thunderchief running a uk o2 pre plus w/ webOS 1.4.5

Day 5
Everything is running ok, mail app opens in the blink of an eye and everything else still quite nippy. Temperature has remained constantly low highest read so far 47C. the battery however has taken a bit of a hit but nothing really worth complaining about as its a small sacrifice for this kind of speed, plus with usb ports everywhere i can also charge it.

Does anyone have any idea about the status of Flash 10.1 for the pre, im starting to get a little upset now and envious of the android owners but still i am 1 very happy pre owner :Contento:

Have you tried th SR71 kernel yet? Speaking of battery, I have seen some websites claiming it will make the Pre go dead really fast.. From what I have experienced, yes it does drain a little faster but not enough in my book to make a difference

I can feel your envy, Adobe needs to really get their act together. It is now 2nd half of 2010. Even their website last i checked still said first half of 2010.

Wanted to give everyone an update as well.

It finally got the best of me. I broke down and installed the new SR71 Blackbird kernel 1.2ghz
Talking about responsive. I ran a benchmark while surfing web, while NFS underground was opened, as well as various other opened programs (15 apps).

I tested this in 2 types of enviroments
1. Outside in the heat around 2pm 92 degrees
2. Inside, dont know the temp, but It was semi cold

Using Govnah to monitor the temp
It never went above 45 degrees (Celsius)
and ran as low as 35 degrees.

I did my best using the benchmark to keep it constantly computing with a high cpu load

They do say this kernel is not for the "weak" Pre's. Known issues has caused users to need to doctor/reload. Or it has completely deleted all the programs/files/usb drive off of the Pre

The Pre I used is a Sprint Phone, which is the "underdog" but it held up with zero issues for myself.

Just in case anyone was curious to try...

^^ Great Feedback. I have been itching to try SR71 myself - have it downloaded since 2 days but didn't have the guts as I have Sprint Pre myself. Will try it now !
