Before launch :Confuso:,:rofl_200:

Ya people are excited about this product.

I had a chance to feel the N1 from my cousin. I am comparing N1 with Sprint Hero -

  • N1 is thinner, but feels heavier (Is it really heavier than Hero)
  • The response is very fast due to the mighty processor
  • To hold in hand, I felt Hero was more comfortable
  • Flash in N1 is great advantage
  • UI seemed little better in N1
  • The call register in N1 was very attractive. The different colours used for incoming, outgoing and missed was really attractive
  • The smart dial available in Hero is missing in N1, which seems a great drawback.

The above are some of the points which I noted.

Nexus One on BSNL 3G

post-18748-126649045624_thumb.jpg

Nice to see the logo of 3G on N1. I have MTNL 3G but not getting through the data connection. Not even EDGE. I sat with their technical team but nothing. They couldn't do it. Let me know the settings for BSNL. Also if someone has got through MTNL on android.

Nope, No user id or pw to be entered; Only enter Name as anything (I entered BSNL) and APN as bsnlnet; worked fantastic here as well as in roaming in Delhi; for MTNL (in Mumbai) name of APN will be different;

I found these for Delhi, if it helps -

doing it on magic. I'm using it on my iphone without any problems. It's something in magic that does not go through.

apn gprsppsmum

username mtnl

password mtnl123

This is for MTNL mumbai.

if its working on iphone and Nexus 1 (for me) that means something is wrong with your Magic's setting....

I was sitting with MTNL techies and they couldn't do anything about it. My vodafone is working fine on magic. If there was a settings problem then Vodafone should not work on magic.

Vodafone is 2G and you are trying 3G; maybe your magic does not support the 3G frequencies being used in India... or maybe its data is locked for 3G...
