Tata Copies Mts, Starts Balance Sms Service

Recommended Posts

Tata Indicom Delhi has started sending text message showing the last call cost and remaining account balance after every call..I find it very useful..I am using Pay per call plan and pay per call flexi plan and on both numbers I have started getting sms..

Others may check and find out for their circles..

I hope that Reliance does not copy this!!!!!!!!!!

I prefer the manual way of checking balance. This system of automatic message updates is also disadvantageous especially during network congestions.

You might end up getting a last call update 24 hours after you actually made the call :)

Every GSM company does it...We are talking of CDMA...

Again, the issue with CDMA that the info will come as a normal SMS; so one would manually have to delete all the SMSs received. Many may find this to be a hassle.

i wish to setup such messages to display in the idle screen just like delivery reports instead of receiving it as an sms.. nokia is having that option for delivery reports..
